_______________________________________It was finally Friday, and I was just getting off of work, eager to get home.
Our furniture was arriving today, including my bed, frame, and headboard.
I've been sleeping on an air mattress all week, and that shit is uncomfortable as fuck.
Speeding home, I pulled into the parking lot. I squealed in my seat seeing the movers moving things into the house.
I literally haven't slept on a real bed in almost a week. I was grateful for my apartment but damn. My back was aching.
I stepped out of my car and walked into my apartment.
"This is the last of it." one of the movers told Ashanti as she sat on the counter.
"Thank you guys again." she said walking them out.
I sent the man a small smile as he walked passed me, to show my appreciation.
When Ashanti returned to the kitchen I turned to her before yelling.
"BITCH I GOT A FUCKIN BEDDDDD!" I dragged as she busted out laughing.
"You is a clown bitch." she said chucklingZ
"I know." I said with a playful pout.
"You know we finna put this shit together on our own right?" she asked as we walked towards the living room.
I nodded. "Duh who else." I said.
Rolling her eyes, she sat on the floor
and began putting the coffee table together.➪ ➪ ➪
"A muthafuckin' workout." I said as we put the last of my dresser together.
"I'm not built for this shit, i'm tired as fuck." Ashant huffed as we laid on my bed.
I chuckled while looking up at the ceiling.
We sat in a comfortable silence, not doing anything in particular. While I layed on her stomach and she massaged my scalp.
I enjoyed moments like these, we could vibe without drugs or partying.
"Hey?" she called out to me.
