Chapter 15 - Somber

Third Person POV :
The next day went on as usual. School hours continue to run normally even until recess comes. Well other times, Fan chooses to skip his break to go to the library and study. In addition to studying, he also uses the library as a place to chill out.

At the moment when he was taking advantage of his chill time, someone appeared in front of the red-haired boy. And in the second he opened his eyes to see the figure, he just sighed heavily.

"You need something, Lightbulb?" He asked to the point. The blonde girl just laughed out loud and made everyone in the library tell her to hush.

"Come on! Are you still angry with me?" She crossed her arms, whining. The red-haired boy frowned and rolled his eyes. He returned to the book he was reading.

"Not at all. I'm not angry, you scolded me for a clear reason. And thank you, I learned." He muttered, not taking his eyes off the book. At first, Lightbulb was a little surprised but she immediately understood soon nodded.

"Also, what are you doing here?" He continued, curious about what Lightbulb wanted to do. Happily, the girl sat in front of him.

"I'm bored so I'm here to make fun of you." This made the boy in front of her groan in annoyance. He chose to remain silent, ignoring the girl.

"By the way, aren't you usually with Test Tube?" He bluntly asked. Lightbulb blinked her eyes, she thought it was really strange.

Well, little did Fan know, Lightbulb actually knew that the two of them were dating, especially since she caught them kissing without him knowing.

"She's with Painty. They were discussing about something." With an innocent face, the girl answered without hesitation. With that, Fan nodded.

He trusted his girlfriend completely, he had promised Test Tube that when something happened, she wouldn't hesitate to ask for help. And he stuck to that promise.

They talked in the library in low voices so as not to disturb the people there. In their conversation, there were some laughs. And little by little they started discussing such deep topics. And that topic is about their relationship and their lover.

"I know! I'm sorry I just told you this!" Fan apologized then groaned. It cannot be denied anymore, Fan was caught red-handed by Lightbulb.

"By the way." He tilted his head when he heard the serious tone of the girl's words.

"How would you respond if someone hurt Test Tube?" A question that was out of her mind, he was a little confused with Lightbulb.

"I definitely won't just sit around and let that happen. She's important, she's my priority. If I don't protect her then I'm not doing my job as a boyfriend well. And unfortunately, I haven't been able to be a good boyfriend for her, but no matter what, I have to try, even though I'm risking my life, it's not a problem because I'm her boyfriend..." He smiled but there was still firmness in his words.
