October 04, 2021. Present time.

"To the Lady whom I promised to meet with," the narrator and I said unison.

"Did you wait for me?" I said and smiled as I faced Dawn. She looked at me as her eyes shone, but it was actually tears that made it shine brighter.

"Of course you did. And clearly, you are still waiting for me. I'm looking at your face right now, and now I clearly see what kind of emotion you'd make." She held her hand to her mouth from shock as her tears continued to fall.

"Look, if you are waiting for me right now... great job holding on." I changed some words.

"You waited and waited.

But you didn't get tired, although for sure you hated me." I said and she laughed a little.

"Are you really..." she asked.

"Yes." I didn't wait for her to finish. "I know I asked you to wait for me, it sure took us time. A big amount of time. And there's no guarantee we'd be able to see each other... but we did."

I hugged her. A very tight hug, "Sorry, I think it took me so long," I said in which she shooked her head.

"But really, all I did was bother you, didn't I? And even hurt you." I continued.

"I will not try to explain as to why these things happened to us...

all the mystery and the black magic, I guess?

But one things for sure, it has been playing with us. For so many years already." I'm still hugging her as we swayed where we stand, as if dancing to a slow romantic dance.

"We're reincarnated, we fell in love with each other.... But we never meet. Or at least that's what I thought. And we did meet Dawn. We meet!"

"I don't know from which time and year are we started so suffer, but as of me, I am a Yoon Jeonghan in this time—in OUR time. From way way far from you, to now being so close to you." And I continued as if I these lines we're just said yesterday, not so many years later. It was still fresh in my memory as I duet with the narrator.

"I hope you have the portrait I gave you, as I hold on to yours. I am sorry though, it's definitely not me. It's... I think from someone in the present, not your present but my time in that time. I hope you're not confused.... And you get that right?" I looked at her and asked. She chuckled and said,

"it's always in my wallet... although I had a feeling that it isn't you, I still kept it."

"But that was still me, anyway." I replied and she nodded in response. Hugging me again.

"I am currently held captive, which is why I can no longer move because I am in the arms of my Dawn, my love..." I emphasized some words that made her laughed and hugged me tighter.

"I don't know if I'll li-... what was I saying before?? But feel definitely feel your warmth—directly from you."

"There's no guarantee you'd be able to see this journal because the narrator has it apparently... at least I was able to say what I've been keeping inside... personally." I joked a bit.

She's been crying, like I was. We've been though a lot, emotionally. This moment right here, is sure worth the many many years of waiting... "I will never leave you again. I swear."

"Lady Dawn, you are the first one and the only one I'd be loving in this current life.

And in my next life, it's Saebyog.

In the next, it'll be Dawn.

Or the next life after the next one, whatever name you take... it's always going to be you." I tried to catch my breathe as I was crying and talking at the same time. My heart could burst from happiness, anytime.

"Destiny might be indeed very harsh on us. But it'll get tired of playing with us, just you wait... and see? It did!

And believe me, one day this might come to an end. Well, look at us!"

"We will meet and fall in love, like we always used do.

Who knows it will be today exactly, but thank you for hanging, my love. I'm here now.

And I'm staying for the better.

And I can't wait to love you everyday now.

I love you always, my Dawn." I whispered and gave her a kiss on her forehead.

The event ended and everybody's leaving. But not us. We stood there at the center, still crying and hugging each other. Every moment was so precious to us that we didn't wanna let go, every moment was—

"Excuse me sir, but I am cleaning this theatre now..." one of the janitors said.

We both laughed and headed out.

"But I swear I still can't believe it..." I said still looking at her.

"Watch your way, mister Prince or you'll bump into the walls." She said laughing at me.

"OMG there you two love birds are!!" Callista shouted and ran towards us.

"You- know her?" I asked.

"Uh, yes. She's my best friend!!!" she replied.

"So... you guys REALLY know each other? And no way!!! Are you... dating?!!"

Dawn and I looked at each other, and kissed.

"Yes we are. Even after 1592 and ever since 1591." We replied in unison.
