Maddie

A/N: sorry this chapter is going to be a little short but I may add more later.

"Maddie!", my brother Trevor yells from the hallway. 

"What? I'm sleeping. And it's way too early Trev.", I hate mornings, with a burning passion. And with 3 older brothers, my mornings are torture. 

"It's football day!", Trevor is our highschool team's starting QB, and on football day, me and my friends- my brothers, their friends, and Ashley- have a ritual where we wake up early and play a mini-football game. Then after school, our team has their game. It's fun, but we have to wake up super early to get to the field before school starts.

"Right!", I jump out of bed and pull on my jersey. As our team's wide receiver, Football Day has a spot in my heart that none of our other traditions can place. 

I run downstairs almost tripping on the bottom step. When I come into our big kitchen I see everyone there. Trevor, Sam, Gabe, Noah, Ryan, and Willy are sitting on the counter eating marshmallows from a giant bag. Ashley is sitting on the marble floor playing with my dog. 

Everyone's face light up when they see me and they hop off the counter and floor. 

"Finally!", my best friend Ashley has about a 5-minute attention span, then she gets bored.

"Well excuse me for sleeping. I wasn't the one who made me stay up all night watching anime.", Ash is a great friend, but most of the time, her spontaneous side comes out and she's crazy.

"Ok, come on guys. We gotta go.", Other than Ash, Trevor is the most impatient person I have ever meant, especially when it comes to football.

"Fine, we're coming. Let's go losers.", I love my brothers- Trevor, Sam, and Gabe but their friends are total jerks. My brothers may look like bad boys, but when you get to know them, they are big softies. 

As we hopped in the car driving through the warm LA suburbs, I realize how nice my life is, if only I didn't have my secret.
