A/N: Sorry again if this is a little short, but there is a lot of POV's I have to go through so I don't want to add too much detail into one chapter and not have enough in another. After I finish this book, I will go back to add a lot more details though, just to let you know.

"Set"

"Hike!"

When running around the field today, I realize how much I love football. Being QB is hard, especially being ambidextrous like Maddie, I always have to try not to use both hands, but my popularity and amount of friends have grown since freshman year when I was put on the team. Unfortunately, the popularity comes with a price, the girls. Maddie is the most popular girl in the school by far, but she doesn't have many girl friends. I, Gabe, and Sam are protective, but only because we know how much Maddie can act tough but be hurt deep inside. I know at least 20 guys who want Maddie, but Maddie doesn't want them, nor does she need them. She is secretive and only opens up to me and Ashley.

"Come on dude, you coming.", my brother Sam pulls me out of my thoughts as we walk back to the school.

"Yeah sorry just thinking,", I hurry up to keep up with the guys. I normally keep to myself because of my secret and because I know that if I don't keep my guard up, people will get under my skin.

As we walk down the hall, everyone stares at us, I guess that's just something you get used to. Most of the stares though, are directed at Maddie, Ash, and I. Us three, are best friends and have always been, we are also all ambidextrous, and only us three know. We are also the hottest people in the grade for our confidence.

Maddie is just a queen and doesn't care what people think because she never lets her guard down.

Ash is super fun and carefree.

And for me? Well I just don't care, plus everyone wants me to like them, so they won't do anything to me that they think I won't like, except for my friends, they are just huge jerks, but I don't even take my guard down around them so there is no reason for them to guess.

When I get to my locker I open it up and pull out my AP chem books. Maddie steps up behind me, "Trevor!".

"What?", Maddie might act mean, but she is the person I care most about so if something upsets her I have to help her out.

Ash comes up behind me and Maddie and I guess she knew what Maddie was talking about because they give each other the look and turn to face me.

"Look behind you at that girl."

I sigh, knowing this is probably part of their plan to get me a girl I actually want to be with. Because despite my bad boy act, I have never really been with a girl.

But when I turn around I almost barf up the marshmallows I ate this morning.

Why? Because the beautiful red-head standing across the hall, is writing, and she's ambidextrous.
