The next day after school, Kendall and I went over to the Dolan's place. This was becoming some sort of routine now.

We opened the door and Ethan was sitting on the couch watching tv. He quickly shot up and ran over to us.

"Hey baby." he said as he pulled Kendall in for a kiss.

"Any day now." I said waiting for them to stop.

Ethan pulled away and smiled.

"So where's Grayson?" I asked.

"Oh.. uh, he's not here right now." Ethan seemed nervous.

"Oh. Well I have to get my math book I forgot it yesterday." I said walking towards the basement door.

Ethan quickly ran over to the door and blocked it.

"I'll get it for you." he half smiled.

"No, you don't even know where I left it." I looked at him confused.

"Fuck." I heard him mumble as I went down the stairs.

As I made it to the last step I stopped in my tracks.

"Gra-Grayson?" I trembled.

He turned around and his jaw dropped.
He was with another girl. I mean we weren't dating but we were like best friends already and it just hurt me to know that one day he would call me "babe" and kiss me and then the next day he would go and bring some other girl and kiss her.

"Adri-" he began.

"No, save it." I said as I walked over to the tv where I left my book.

He got up and tried to talk to me, but my mind was blocking out all other sounds and all I was focusing on was leaving. Now.

"Please Adrian stop!" he said as he grabbed my wrist.

"Let me explain!" he pleaded.

"I'm listening." I gritted through my teeth.

"We were assigned a project and just one thing lead to another and-"

"Um, Grayson? I thought we were dating! Not project buddies!" the girl he was kissing walked up beside him.

He rolled his eyes at her, and I rolled my eyes at him.

"It's one thing to do something like that, and it's another thing to lie to me." I spat at him.

"I-I" he studdered.

"I hope you have a happy and healthy relationship with her." I faintly smiled and ran up the stairs.

I saw Kendall by the island talking with Ethan. I quickly ran up behind her and grabbed the back of her shirt.

"We're leaving." I angrily said eyeing Ethan.

"Oh and thanks Ethan for lying to me." a tear fell from my eye.

I ran home with Kendall.

"Dude, tell me what happened!" she asked for the 20th time.

"He was with another fuck up!" I screamed.

I was getting really angry now. I was played. Why me?! I trusted him. Oh my god, what did I do to deserve this.

"I'm so fucking stupid!" I yelled.

"No don't say-" Kendall started speaking.

"Don't fall in love with hot people, Kendall. There's always going to be that one person that gets in the way! Like Gilinsky and Madison Beer!" I yelled.

"It's okay Adrian. I'm sure you can find someone so much better!" Kendall said trying to comfort me.

"I hope so." I said.

Grayson then texted me, and I saw the name on my phone. "gayson💙"

"I really need to change that." I said as I opened the message.

"I'm sorry" he wrote.

I laughed at the message, responded and tossed it on my bed.

"Let's go shopping to get my mind off of this." I smiled.

"Of course." Kendall smiled.
