I should fall short

The whole day had gone by in an instant, both Kenma and Kuroo finished class early today. "Kenma stay here I'll be back" Kenma sat down on the floor and stared at the ground until Kuroo got back. "Here!" Kenma looked up and saw that Kuroo was holding a can of tea. "Why tea..?" Kuroo sat down next to Kenma, "well cause' you've been coughing a lot and I just thought the tea would make you feel better." Kenma opened the can and drank some of the tea, "Thanks I guess...?" After that there was an awkward silence...none of them spoke. "Hey!" Lev was running toward the two waving his hand in the air he didn't look so happy as he normally would, "Yaku wanted me to tell you that we won't have practice today until Kenma got better because he didn't want anyone else catching it." Kuroo's heart stopped for a second, "Catch what? Kenma only has a little cough, I'm sure he'll get better soon." Lev signaled Kuroo to look at Kenma, "What?" Kuroo was as confused as ever. "Why are you guys looking at me...?" Kenma was also confused, he felt uncomfortable that they were both staring at him. "Oh nothing, Yaku also told me to tell you to meet him at the gym after school. He said to not bring anybody." "Why?" Kuroo wanted to know why Yaku wanted to meet Kenma, especially because he said alone. What did he mean by 'alone'? "I don't know, he never told me why" Both Kenma and Kuroo looked at each other with a confused face. "I'm going to go to the restroom...I'll be right back" Kenma put his hair behind his ear and got up, "I'm going with you" Kenma looked at Kuroo, who was getting up. "Why are you going to come with me?" Kenma was stumbling around a little, he felt a little dizzy and put his hand on a wall so he wouldn't fall. "Kenma, I'm worried about you. Look at you! You're stumbling around and I just want to make sure your okay." Kenma got up and turned away from Kuroo while holding the wall as he made his way to the restroom. "Has Kenma been acting like that recently, or...?" Kuroo looked at Lev and nodded, "Do you want me to come with you?" Kuroo started walking toward the building and walked down the hallway, which eventually led to the restroom, Lev wasn't sure what to do so he followed. Kenma locked himself in a restroom stall and was throwing up endless amounts of flower petals. Kuroo and Lev went inside the restroom and saw the petals on the floor, they both started whispering so Kenma wouldn't hear them talk. "Kuroo, I'm going to call Yaku...something's definitely wrong with Kenma, I mean, look at those flower petals." Kuroo looked at the petals and saw that they were the same red petals that were in the restroom at Kenma's house. "Do you think he knows what's going on with Kenma?" Lev was quiet for a second trying to figure out what to tell him, "Yeah I think he does, I don't know yet."

[ Kenma's POV: ]

- I knew it. They just had to come, I wish they could just go away...it's unusual that Kuroo is acting this way. I mean yeah sure, he's always taken care of me but, I've never seen him this worried before, I don't know how to act around him sometimes, and if he finds out that I'm sick he'll be miserable, but there's nothing I can do about it...- 

"Yaku called an ambulance, he said that it's close and to stay calm." Kuroo looked so tired and worried, "So does he know what's going on?" Lev nodded, he also looked worried...he just wanted Kenma to be okay so then Kuroo could be happy. Kenma was still throwing up flower petals for about 15 minutes straight. Kenma was almost out of breath...he wanted to stop coughing, he just wished none of this happened...the paramedics came right when Kenma had passed out. Both Kuroo and Lev saw the paramedics put Kenma on the stretcher, Kuroo stood there. He had no idea how to react, he just wanted to cry his heart out. He was worried about what was going to happen to Kenma...and before he knew it a tear came down his face as he saw them take Kenma away.
