A few minutes ago, I stumbled onto a scene behind the school right next to the tennis courts. A brunette with piercing red eyes is surrounded by a group of guys, from the looks of it, I'm guessing they are on the tennis team. The girl is saying something to them while glaring but I'm too far away to hear, and it's not like I really care in the first place. Eventually I've had enough of whatever it is that is happening and approach the group.
"Hey, can you guys tone it down a little? I'm trying take a nap and you're disturbing me," I lie.
"The school days over, why are you still here? Can't you take a nap at home?" the girl questions me with a thick layer of sass.
"I'm here because I feel like it. Do I need a specific reason to be here after school hours?" I question with an eyebrow raised.
The girl just 'tsks' in response and turns her head to side, glaring at the ground.
"Hey, you're Hinamori Shion, right? The girl who was trained by Ryuuzaki sensei from a young age?" a guy with black hair and two weird strands hanging on his forehead asks me.
I just nod my head, too lazy to actually respond with words. The boy goes to speak again, when he is interrupted by a female voice.
"Shouldn't you guys be practicing already? Tezuka's gonna make you run so many laps if you don't get started soon. I heard that he's on his way."
"Ayane chi!!!" the boy with red hair that curls up slightly, exclaims, running past me, as I turn around to look, and glomping the girl.
He nuzzles his cheek against hers while practically purring with joy. The orange haired girl next to them chuckles lightly at the sight.
"Eiji, you're going to suffocate poor Ayane if you don't let go soon," she says with a small smile on her face.
'Eiji' let's go of the pink haired girl, who is gasping for breath, and turns to the girl who just spoke.
"Thanks Emiko chi! It would have been no good if Ayane chi had suffocated," he responds.
"What kind of messed up comedy show is this?" the brunette mutters under her breath while sweat dropping.
I can't help but agree with her after seeing all this chaos.
"You two are probably really confused right now, so I'll do a quick introduction of everyone, starting with myself"
the girl named Emiko begins,
"I'm Kusonagi Emiko and I'm a third year, I'll be the team medic of the boys tennis team. The girl next to me is Jiro Ayane, also a third year, and she'll be the team manager. The red head is Kikumaru Eiji, also a third year. He's known for his acrobatic play style and plays doubles. The feminine looking guy is Fuji Syuusuke, also a third year. He's considered the 'tensai' of the tennis team and he plays both doubles and singles, usually doubles though. The guy with sideburns is Kawamura Takashi, 3rd year. He undergoes a complete personality change when he holds anything related to sports and plays either doubles or singles. The guy with the weird strands, no offense Oishi, is Oishi Syuuichiro, a 3rd year. He's the vice captain of the team and is the other half Eiji's doubles play. They're known as the 'Golden Pair'. The guy with the square framed glasses is Inui Sadaharu, also a 3rd year. He used to be a regular on the team but lost his spot to our super rookie. He's known for his data tennis play style and he's the one who gets all the information on other teams. The guy with the spiky hair is Momoshiro Takeshi, a 2nd year. Everyone calls him Momo chan, though. He's a power player and is the one who found our super rookie. The guy wearing the bandana is Kaidoh Kaoru, also a 2nd year. He's known for his shot, called the 'Snake Shot', that is similar to the buggy whip shot, and he has the tendency to say 'fshuuu' a lot. Just a friendly reminder, never call him Mamushi, he'll get triggered. And finally, not including the buchou who isn't here yet, we have Echizen Ryoma, a 1st year. He's our super rookie and can adapt mid play. He'll definitely be a force to be reckoned with. I think that about covers everything."
"I'm Hinamori Shion, as you probably already heard, nice to meet you, I guess," I respond.
"I already introduced myself to these weirdos but anyways, I'm Ishimaru Ochaco and I would say its nice to meet you but then I'd be lying," the brunette, Ishimaru, responds, rolling her eyes.
"You guys should probably go warm up now before you get yelled at," Jiro says reminding the guys that their buchou will kill them with laps if they don't hurry up and get started. It seems that things are starting to get interesting around here.
A/N: Wow that was one long spoken part by Emiko, I'm low key impressed with it. I would have skipped the introductions again but I finally introduced all of my oc's so it just made sense to introduce all the characters right there. I honestly had no idea where this chapter was going when I started it but I'm pretty satisfied with the way it turned out and I hope my readers are too. Please look forward to the next chapter.
