The Abrahamic Odyssey
On Socotra walks a young man by the name of Nomolos; he is the son of Bathsheba and Uriah the Hittite.
Socotra is a small but beautiful island.
The island is filled with unique and exotic plants, and it has a busy and famous port.
Nomolos is walking home from the harbor, and he has now reached the palace of his family, which was surrounded by majestic dragon blood trees.
Nomolos and his family are seen as royalty on Socotra.
Nomolos petted Odysseus the guard dog, he now walked in, and was immediately filled with anger, for his father; Uriah, went off to fight in the Wilusiyan War, ten years ago, but Uriah has yet to return, and many people think him dead. That is why the palace is filled with suitors; who all hope to marry Nomolos' mother; Bathsheba, whose beauty is said to be unrivaled.
The suitors are;
Jonah the Lover.
Ganelon.
Brutus.
Raynald.
David the Lustful.
And these are just some of the more well known of the suitors.
" Ah, look who's back, it is Uriah junior " said Ganelon, as he stuffed his face full of wine.
" And you are still here? " said Nomolos with a grin.
" Of course. We are all guest here, thus does the principle of hospitality apply "
" I would say that you have all overstayed your welcome " said Nomolos with a smirk.
" That is not for you to decide, only your mother can make such a decision " said David with a smile.
Nomolos glared at David.
Nomolos almost asked Archangel Ezekiel and Camael for strength, so that he may vanquish all the suitors.
Everyone now paused as Bathsheba walked down the stairs, her beauty being increased by Jophiel and Haniel.
" My son, welcome home " said Bathsheba, whose voice was like a melody played by Israfil.
" Mother " said Nomolos, who now gave his mother a hug and a kiss.
" If only I could kiss her, " said Raynald with a smile.
Nomolos glared back at Raynald.
" Enough " said Bathsheba with a tone like that of Ariel; the Lioness of God.
" Now, let us eat something, " said Bathsheba, now with a tone of Sabriel; the Angel of Miracles.
Everyone now ate their fill.
After the meal, the servants cleaned up, while Nomolos and his mother walked upstairs.
" Mother, you don't have to deal with these men's lustful eyes. They only want your hand in marriage so that they can get my father's land and wealth " said Nomolos.
Bathsheba sat down on her bed.
" Do you really think that I am ignorant of that fact? " said she.
" Then let us call upon Azrael, Michael and Gabriel, so that we may vanquish all these lustful men! " exclaimed Nomolos, proudly.
Bathsheba just giggled.
" I am happy to see that Camael gives you strength and courage, but, we have to be patient till your father returns " said Bathsheba with the hope of Phanuel.
Nomolos sighed.
" You really think that he is alive? " said he.
" Yes, with all my heart and soul " said Bathsheba with all the love of Raphael, as she looked out the window at the blue sea.
Nomolos was also looking out the window, as he felt the warm touch of Uriel.
" I pray that dad may return home, soon... " said Nomolos, as he left his mother's room.
" And I pray that the two beyond Seraphim brothers; Metatron and Sandalphon will carry your prayer up to God, my dear son... " said Bathsheba, as a tear ran down her cheek.
But, where is Uriah?
Why don't we ask Uriah's guardian Angel; 'Iax.
" He is currently on Grail island! " said the Angel 'Iax.
We now find ourselves on Grail island, the home of Dindrane- the sister of Sir Percival- she has been nursing Uriah back to health for about two years now.
Uriah the Hittite was sitting at the holy beach, looking out at the blue sea.
For some reason, a tear ran down Uriah's cheek.
" Bathsheba... " uttered Uriah, with the sadness of Samyaza.
" Your wife misses you " said Dindrane, as she walked up to Uriah.
" I know " said he; " I must return home "
Dindrane just smiled.
" You first need to find a ship, and sadly; I have none, " said she.
Uriah was now depressed.
" I am sure that something will turn up. In the meantime, why don't we pass the time with a story? " said Dindrane.
Uriah smiled, as he said;
" Allow me to tell you of the Wilusiyan War, and how I ended up on your island " said Uriah, as he began his tale, while Kokabiel appeared in the night sky.
