as he made his way to my desk I waited patiently for his scent

"alright class so as you know this Math class so turn your book to page 27 and do problem 1-20" Mr. Johnson said as he turned away from the chalkboard he was writing on and sat down
Bell rings
"ok class what you didn't finish do it for homework"
"girl I'm hungry as hell " I said packing up, "I hope we don't have that dirty ass pizza for lunch " Journi joked
"Mulani can you come here for a minute" Mr. Johnson called to me , "yes" I said while I motioned Journi to go stand outside"
" I seen your work and It's good work but it could be better ,are you planning on staying after school for the game "? he said sounding like music to my ears
"I don't know yet why , is there something you need" I said sounding like I was actually gonna do something "Well if you do I need to speak with you " "alright ill see if I can squeeze you in my busy schedule I said flipping my hair leaving the classroom I almost melted when I heard him chuckle
"what happen" Journi said , "He just wants to see me after school if I'm not to busy I mean we basically picking out wedding colors" I laughed while walking in the doors of the lunchroom
"the day yall two get married ill be a millionaire " Journi laughed then she seen Malaysia and she quickly caught an attitude
"you two seriously need to stop the beef fr , imma make yall fix the shit" as I was saying that guess who decided to walk his big headed ass in the lunchroom to the snack stand all loud and carrying on, as we make our way to our table I get up and approach him at the snack counter
"same place different scenario huh" I said annoyed fed up with the bullshit ass excuses , he takes a deep breath then a nervous chuckle before he speaks
"listen I-" I cut hs lying ass off before he can anything else, " I don't wanna hear no bullshit ass excuse on why you can't pay me back John cause if you can buy something from this damn snack counter you can pay me back right now especially since we in the same spot where you borrowed it from me at "
"girl if you don't get out my damn face I got ya shit, now if you ask me nicely I just might give it to ya ass" he said looking me up and down
"I don't gotta ask nice for nobody boy give me my money" I asked with my hand out while he ignored me , "John don't make me cause a scene in the lunchroom" I said getting loud
"You and your ghetto ass friends here take your shit, " he said slamming the money in my hand , I snatched it away " oh but you ain't have no problem with my friend and her ghetto ass when you were smiling in her face this morning " I said ready to smack him the minute he disrespect one of my homegirls , "wasn't nobody in her face girl mind yo business ". he said getting upset
"nigga she is my business and I don't appreciate you flirting with both my homegirls take that hoe ass shit somewhere else" I said walking away
"man ain't nobody worried about your friends ,you tripping " he said with a slight mug

"I just finished talking to John disrespectful ass " I said rolling my eyes " "first of all he slammed the money in my hand so I snatched it , I confronted him about flirting with both of yall ," what he say" Journi said eating a French fry , he said it's none of my business, nothing happened" Journi widened her eyes " mhmmm girl like we didn't see him all in your face Malaysia " I said staring at Malaysia
"What" she said mugging "I told yall it was nothing ,she was the one tripping " she pointed to Journi and the look on Journi face screamed she wanted to drag her ass across the table and not even for John this time just because of her damn mouth
"you ain't say shit Malaysia you basically bragged about flirting with him " I told her while stealing some of Journi juice " I hate niggas " Journi said
*intercom* All students that are participating in the after school activities or that is going to the game please have your teacher call the office to send you down in groups of 5 thank you
"yall going to the game? " Malaysia asked cleaning up as everybody was leaving the lunchroom
"I don't know " Journi said dumping her tray, " I don't know I got plans after school " I said getting my stuff together
Bell rings for the end of the day
"yall coming to my house after school?" " yeah" Journi said "I don't know I'm thinking about going to the game " Malaysia said as Journi mugged her
"I wonder why" Journi said rolling her eyes as I chuckled "yall come with me to Mr. Johnson class real quick " I said walking backwards , when I finally made it to his classroom he was sitting in his chair working on his laptop looking so fine
" yes Mr. Johnson you wanted to see me "? I say walking into the classroom
" Yes you can sit down I'm not gonna be long I seen your work but I feel like it could be better "
"better" I said shocked , " yes better , I recommend tutoring " he said, " tutoring , I know what I'm doing I just need to study more " I said reassuring him " I never said you weren't good I just said I recommend tutoring for you to get better, now my son is excellent in math and he can tutor you if you would like " he said getting up out his seat, " Uh sure , will this take place in your home Mr. Johnson? " I asked he chuckles " no it will be in public areas or in school" he said standing by the door
"oh ok , we can arrange that " I said getting up beginning to walk out
"ok I will discuss with my son and get back with you "
"okay " I said walking out not knowing how I feel but ready to see his son because if he is as fine as his dad oh I want him and babyyy imma get him .
