Ch. 7 The Tiger Within Me

Scarlet's P.O.V

What the hell was that all about? I wonder why I couldn't communicate with my wolf and tiger before....I better rest due to the fact I need to go through all that pain again tomorrow.

~Morning~

I wake up to the sound of that annoying ringing and to the sound of my wolf and tiger yelling at me to wake up and shut that thing up. I gladly did turn it off but I threw it across the room and broke it. Oops.... Looks like that's another one added to the list. Although I'm so lazy to get ready for hell I got out of bed and headed for the shower. After shaving, washing my body and scalp, and staying under the water collecting my thoughts, I decided it was time to get out. I shivered as I felt the cold air hit my naked body. I quickly wrapped my body in my black towel and started blow drying my hair. Since I was going to turn into my tiger tonight I decided to dress comfortably and wear a tiger shirt with shorts and white converse. I left my hair down and applied a bit of make up on, even though no one would even bother to recognize this little change.

After I was done with all that I noticed the time, 7:30am. Crap, I'm going to be late. I ran out of my door and onto my motorcycle. Skipping out on food, sadly. Another day in hell, I think to myself as I run to my locker to get my books.

*sigh* finally out of school. Thank the moon goddess I have today off.

'Hey Sky, Bell, any ideas on what to do today?'

'You can always shift to get used to your wolf body but remember to be careful'

' I got to agree with Skylar, getting accustomed is important right now. And shifting more often will get help get used to shifting, of course.'

'Sounds like a plan then' I cut the connection and start heading back home. On my way back I stopped by an ice-cream parlor and asked for a vanilla ice-cream in a wafflecone. Yes, I'm plain like that. Right when I sat down in a booth I heard something strange from two male teens that go to my school.
Boy One: "Alpha, are you sure that you feel your mate? I mean well people sometimes 'think' they feel their mate are you-"
The 'Alpha' suddenly cuts him off, "I'm sure I'm not making this up. I feel her, I think she may be hiding although I don't know why she would."
At that moment I decided it was best for me to leave, I get up and out of there and ride back home.

~time skip to 10:00pm~
'Did you guys hear what I heard? Do you think they could have been talking about us?'

'Don't think that, many people hide their sent as well.'

'But there-'

'No.'

-falls on the floor and curls up into a ball- 'Guys I think it's happening, the pain it's increasing'

'hang in there Scarlet' they said in unison.
