Ch. 8 Camping Trip

How is everyone doing today? Me? Oh, I'm fine. Well here's another chapter. Let's get reading!

Scarlet's P.O.V

I felt the pain slowly decrease and I once again had paws in front of me. "So, uh. How do I look?"

"You look like a regular black and white tiger except you have that one red paw, as for size it is about the same as your wolf form."

"Remember that whichever form we are in, we cannot be-"

"Found by our mate. I know and that I need to be very careful and cautious because of what I am," I finished off saying for Skylar and cut the connection. I then shifted back into a human and put on my pjs that I took outside.

~time skip Friday after school~

"Hey Scarlet!" yelled my only friend in this hell hole, school- well life in general.

"What's up Tes?" I asked her. Her full name is Tessa but she prefers being called Tes, yet I just switch on and off between the two. Tessa is what I consider a very attractive girl. She has very dirty blond hair, that almost looks brown, with some hazel eyes.

"Well me and a cousin were planning to go camping to a lake up in the woods, you wanna join?"

"Well-"

"Come on Scarlet, it will be fun; I promise."

"Lets go. It may let you turn into your forms so it won't hurt you as often when you shift."

"Sky is right, this will be a good opportunity; especially since your house is only covered by a small acre of woods. If we go to more open ground then we could run around with out risking of being caught by anyone."

"Fine I'll go. I mean what could a little trip do to me?"

(I was going to leave it here and work on an update for maybe Friday but I'll just continue it, since it was mainly dialogue.)

~Time skip~ Evening

"Woah this place is so pretty." I said as I gaped at the sight in front of me. There was a large lake in front of me and the best part is that Tes brought a JetSki! I can't wait to hop on that baby and just let all the worries flow outta me.

"Scarlet, come help me and Crissy unpack and set up the tent. Please." Crissy is Tessa's cousin, but her full name is Christina; like Tessa she goes by a nickname rather than full. Unlike Tessa, Crissy has blond hair but there is some dirtier shades here and there, yet she still has the hazel eyes but hers has some green specks in them. Once again, very attractive; making me feel like I'm the odd ball out.

"Alright skinny bones I'm coming, you start making the fire since night is starting to fall."

~Guess what? Another time skip because it is currently 3:30 am where I live~

"Rise and shine sleeping beauties!" Yelled Crissy at both me and Tes. "There's food ready!"

"I'm awake! Where is the food at?!" Tes and I yell at the same time; as I was getting out of the tent that we all shared.

"It's on the fire, still fresh. I just got done making it."

"Thanks Crissy for making it today."

"No problem. Where is Tes?"

"Probably picking out what to wear." I say while laughing.

"I could still here you guys out there!" Shouted Tes from the tent, struggling to choose what top to wear.

"Are we taking the JetSki for a run later?"

"Hell ya we are!" Says Tes while coming out the tent with some shorts and a black top.

"Well we better change into our bathing suits in case something happens," Crissy says while throwing away her trash.

"So I just got ready for nothing then?" Exclaimed Tes.

"No, now you know what to wear after we get out," I point out to Tes.

"You have a valid point there Red."

~Time skip brought to you by writers block~

"Hurry up Crissy! Choose a bathing suit already!" -Tes

"Says the one that took long in he morning to look for a top to wear!" -Crissy

"We are going to unload the JetSki in the meantime, Crissy!"

"Alright Scarlet! Don't break the JetSki with your driving skills Tes!" -Crissy

"This is my JetSki! Of course I know how to drive it unlike you, loser." -Tes

"Shut up." Crissy says while laughing.

~after a few minutes~

"Hey Crissy you want to try to drive?" I offer.

"You sure about this?" Crissy asks nervously.

"If you want to drive you can Crissy." -Tes

"Alrighty." Crissy says while trading spots with me.

-after teaching her the basics-

"And that's all there is to it." I say

"Really? That's it?" Crissy questions.

"Yup. That's all there is loser" -Tes

"Go ahead and drive." I said with a smile on my face but once Crissy started driving and I saw another person on another JetSki, I realized I screwed up. Big time. Not just because Chrissy was driving but for another reason.
