"Do you think that Y/N realizes that her pants are on backward?"
I whipped around, looking at who said that, catching the eyes of a few cadets, who turned away quickly. I walked over to them, before whispering,
"Are they really on backward?" To which they nodded, and I sighed, "Well, that's embarrassing. Thanks, Jean, Connie."
I walked faster, pulling my coat down further hopefully to conceal my embarrassment. This really is the last thing I needed before the boat arrived. I quickly jogged down the hill, already a bit late due to having to change out of my wet clothing and into my uniform.
My uniform was the same as the others, except I had a satchel bag strapped around me. It held my tinkering supplies, as well as my glasses for tinkering. I had brought it everywhere, in case I found something interesting. It was my job to document new things, as well as inspect them. I knew for a fact I'd have to search the ship, documenting each item on it.
"Hey, there you are, shorty in command!" Hanji had patted my head, to which they then looked at my head, "Why are you moist?"
"First of all, I'm an inch taller than Levi, and second of all, I was doing some search and recover."
"Tch, I'm taller than you."
I looked at Levi out of the corner of my eye, before realizing he had one of the Marleyans in front of him, probably to show that we had already captured the one boat. I believe his name was Niccolo?
"You are not taller than me, I'm taller than you by 0.5 centimeters." I stuck my tongue out, before smiling at the Marleyan, "Good evening, Niccolo, so sorry for Levi having to supervise you."
The blonde-haired soldier didn't acknowledge what I had to say, only looking at the boat approaching, as I sighed, before walking towards the cliffside, where Eren was waiting.
"Don't forget to-"
"I know, wait for Eren to lower me onto the boat and try not to attract attention. Secure the back of the ship making sure that they aren't trying to jump off or signal anyone."
I approached the brunette, while he just stared into the ocean, as I adjusted the bag on my shoulder, making sure it was secured across my body and that it was closed.
"Good evening, Eren." The brunette glanced over, smiling a bit.
Eren and I hadn't exactly been close, but I had helped Hanji with their experiments on Eren, and on Armin recently. I knew Eren and Historia were both captured by Rod Reiss, as I was sent to infiltrate Kenny's squad, learning about their weapons to help advance our own. Thus I had access to Eren, I snuck him food and water while he was captive and eventually was on the squad to protect him when we retook Wall Maria.
"Hey, Y/N." That was all Eren replied, as we both watched the ship get closer and closer before glancing down the hill, seeing Mikasa give the signal to go, as Eren jumped towards the water, and transformed underwater. We had discovered that if Eren transformed underwater, he didn't attach as much attention as if he would aboveground. Once his head emerged, I dived down into the water, emerging on Eren's shoulder, as he walked closer towards the boat.
Eren picked me up by my hood, before placing me on the back of the boat. I quickly grabbed onto the railing, jumping through the window, thinking back to the layout of the previous boat, trying to locate the radio room. It should have been just inside the window I slipped through, and I turned my head, quickly taking out the gun I had from a previous Marleyan soldier, and pointing it to his temple.
