~Shoto~

On the day that my sister was arriving, I woke up early, taking the bus to the airport. I hadn't wanted to be late but ended up getting there with thirty minutes to spare. There wasn't really much to do, so I found a seat and busied myself with my phone.

My body was still sore though it's not as bad as yesterday. Training wasn't quite as intense yesterday, but I still got beat pretty good. Every time I think I'm getting better and am able to defend myself against Izuku, he gets better. At least I could hold my own in a fight now, thanks to everything.

I got so absorbed into my phone I didn't even notice my sister standing in front of me until she touched my shoulder. "Hi, Sho- Oh my god, what happened to your eye!" Fuyumi exclaimed, gently touching my right eye.

"Oh, that? I uh, fell down the stairs." I lied, feeling uncomfortable. "That's why I have bruises on my body too."

"Were you drunk?" Fuyumi asked disappointedly. "You know you're underage here, right?"

With a sigh, I stood up and pocketed my phone. "I wasn't drunk, Fuyumi. I tripped on my untied shoelace. And I was running on two hours of sleep." At this point, I was just making up anything I could, hoping she would stop talking about it. I felt bad lying, but there was no way I could tell her how I actually got the bruises.

"I can't picture you being that clumsy, but everyone has their days." Fuyumi said, eyeing me suspiciously. "Let's go to my hotel, then how about you show me your place and where you work? After that, you can take me sightseeing." Nodding in agreement I took her suitcase from her. "What a gentleman." she joked, lightly punching my shoulder. I winced at the pain but said nothing.

Fuyumi started walking towards the taxis while I started walking towards the busses. "Where are you going with my things?" she asked, "The taxis are over here."

"It's cheaper." I stated plainly.

"I'll pay the fare." Good enough for me, I shrugged, following her to the taxis. Fuyumi flagged down a taxi, climbing in while I placed her suitcase in the trunk. Neither of us said much during the ride to her hotel, but the silence was comfortable. I stood back as she checked in, keeping a tight grip on her suitcase. "I'm on floor 14." She led me to the elevators, pressing the button. "So, where do you work?"

"A cafe." I said vaguely, praying she won't want to go to The Caffeine Fix. If I go in there they'll ask me where I've been over the past week, then Fuyumi will know I haven't been working, and then she will ask what I've been doing, and then I'll have to tell her. Thankfully she didn't ask more, letting silence settle over us again.

The elevator stopped on floor 14, and I followed Fuyumi through the halls to her room. This place is nice, I wonder how much it costs? As much as I wanted to ask, I didn't. She opened the door, holding it open so I could pull her suitcase in. I set it in a corner, then turned to look at the room. It was quite large, probably two times the size of my apartment. The bathroom itself was almost as big as my apartment. "Can you show me your apartment now?" Fuyumi asked. "We really don't need to say here."

"Y-yeah, I'll show you my apartment," I said, suddenly feeling embarrassed. I led Fuyumi down to the street, grabbing her hand so she wouldn't get lost.  She followed me silently, probably taking in our surroundings.

Once we reached my apartment building I let Fuyumi look at the outside of the building before leading her up to my apartment. I dug my keys out of my pocket, starting to feel even more embarrassed. "It's quite small," I told her, swinging the door open. "It's all I can afford."

Fuyumi placed a hand on my shoulder and said, "It's fine, Shoto, I'm not going to judge you for how small your apartment is." I stepped aside so she could enter my apartment. I watched as she turned around in a circle, taking in my apartment. "Well, it is small. Where do you sleep?"
