"Dixie? Are you awake?" Charli asked, shaking you to death.

You suddenly woke up to Charli shaking you, still in James's room.

"Huh? What happened?" You asked.

"James hit you in the head with a book." Your mom frowned.

"Yea, but luckily we caught him. He's in the police car, locked up." Charli said.

"Oh, well that's good." You said, rubbing your head, soon realizing it's bleeding a little.

"Here, lets get you cleaned up." Your dad said, reaching his hand out for you.

You took your dad's hand and he helped you up.

"Wait, where's Noah?" You worried.

"He's on his way to the hospital. But he should be fine." Your mom said.

"What do you mean? He got stabbed badly in the stomach. He lost a lot of blood." You cried.

"Don't worry honey, he'll be fine." Your dad said, walking you out of the room.

All of you guys walked downstairs and eventually outside to the ambulance to get you cleaned up. Some lady guided you onto the ambulance to sit down, then she cleaned you up. Mostly just your head, since it was bruised and bloody.

"All set." The lady said, walking you out of the ambulance.

"I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to the hospital to see Noah." You said, walking towards Noah's car, since it was still parked there.

"I'm coming with you since you can't drive on your own." Charli said, catching up to you.

"Me and your dad will meet you guys there. Love you, drive safe." Your mom said.

You sat in the passenger seat since you had a minor concussion, while Charli drove.

-----------------------------------------------------------

You and Charli made it safely to the hospital within 15 minutes. You ran out the car, making your way to the entrance, with Charli following you.

Instead of checking in, you ran through the halls looking for Noah's room. Soon enough, you and Charli  found it. The door was closed since they were doing an operation. While looking through the door, a doctor glances at you guys, then walks out the room.

"You guys must wait in the waiting room. You can't immediately come in yet." The doctor said.

"But he's my boyfriend, and I love him. I have to see him. I just want to hold his hand and be by his side." You nearly cried.

"I'm sorry, but you can't. I truly would let you go in the room, but it's a rule. No one can go into the operation rooms while operations are being held. Once we are done and see if the operation works out correctly, we'll let you guys come in." The doctor said.

"This is so stupid. I JUST WANT TO SEE MY BOYFRIEND." You screamed.

You dropped to the floor and had a panic attack. You couldn't help it. It was a natural cause for you. You layed on the floor, thinking about all the thoughts in your head. All you wanted was to see Noah, but the doctors took him away from you. What if he didn't make it through the operation? What would happen if you never saw nor talked to him again? You wondered where Lathan was and why the police aren't looking for him. You were also wondering why James was apart of Lathan's whole entire "plan," if there was one.

"Dixie, get up." Charli said, trying to help you up.

You got up and ran to the bathroom, then to the toilet. You threw up, but Charli was right by your side, helping you get through this entire mess.

"Thank you." You said, sitting on the bathroom ground, near the toilet.

"Anytime." Charli lightly smiled, sitting down next to you.

"Do you think Noah will be okay?" You asked.

"Yes. I believe he'll be okay. He is such a strong man, he'll get through it." Charli said, hugging you.

While hugging each other, your parents walked into the bathroom.

"Hey, Dix. Are you okay hun?" Your mom asked, walking towards you.

"Yea, now I am." You slightly smiled.

"Here, lets get you cleaned up." Your mom helped you up and walked you towards the sink.

While at the sink washing your face, you took a moment to look at yourself in the mirror. For a slight moment, you thought in your head; "who am i? why am i here? what good do i do in this world?"

While gazing out into the mirror, your mom puts her arm around your shoulder.

"Everything is going to be okay." She smiled.

"You can't say that if everything is clearly not okay." You frowned, looking away from the mirror.

"Well, soon everything will be okay." Your mom said.

"When will soon be? What if Noah doesn't make it?" You cried.

Everyone in the bathroom stood there in silence.

"Here, lets just sit in the waiting room." Your mom said.

"I think that's the best idea you came up with all day." You said, paranoid.

Everyone walked out the bathroom and into the waiting room.

-----------------------------------------------

Everyone was sitting in the waiting room for a solid hour. No doctors or surgeons came out of Noah's room yet to give you guys the heads up. You were a bit nervous but you knew Noah is a strong fighter.

------------------------------------------------

After about an hour or two, a doctor walks out of Noah's room. He walked out the room with a straight face, then he eventually walked towards you and your family.

"Well, is Noah going to be fine?"  You asked, impatiently waiting for the results.
