(17.) James's House Pt. 1

Once you arrived home, you wanted to get ready fast. Just because you were scared, but nothing stopped you.

You walked in your room to grab some clothes, just a plain blue t-shirt with mom jeans. Then you obviously grabbed a bathing suit, just an ordinary black one. After picking out your clothes, you jumped straight in the shower.

You got out of the shower and put clothes on. Then you did your makeup and your hair. You grabbed your phone off the bathroom counter and texted Noah.

Messages:

You: Hey, lmk when your ready to pick me up :)

Noah: I'm almost there, love you :)

You: Love you too

Noah: Love you more

You walked out the bathroom and into the kitchen to get a little snack. Just some gold fish. After you got your snack, you walked outside and waited for Noah.

Noah just arrived at your house. He got out of his car to hug you.

"Yay, your here. I missed you." You smiled, giving Noah a hug.

"Heh, I missed you too." Noah smiled, looking at you in your eyes.

"Okay, ready to go?" You asked, walking into the car.

"Yup." Noah said, getting in the car.

"Oh wait, one more thing-" Noah cut you off.

"What? Are you on your period? Do you need anything? I'll get something if you need it." Noah said, almost panicking.

"No." You laughed.

"What then?" Noah asked in confusion.

"Can we stop by James's house. Charli wanted us to check in and see if he is doing okay. He hasn't been answering our texts." You frowned.

"Yea, of course." Noah smiled.

You guys drove off to James's house.

You and Noah finally arrived at James's house. Both of his cars were there, which was surprising since he was practically ignoring you and Charli. You and Noah got out of the car and walked to the front door. Noah rang the doorbell, no answer. He ranged it again, no answer. You rang it, no answer. This was weird of him, all the lights were off too.

"Stay here, I'll go look around the house. Maybe even through the windows." Noah said.

"Okay, be careful." You said.

While Noah walked around the house, you texted Charli.

Messages:

You: Chars, we don't know where he is yet. He isn't answering the door.

Charli: Well, are his cars there??

You: Yes, but all the lights are off- What should we do?

Charli: I would tell you to go in the house but that's illegal, since he obviously isn't there.

You: I mean- Would it be illegal? He's our friend, right?

Charli: Dixie, he has been ignoring us for a while now. Of course it'd be illegal-

You: Well, I gtg. Bye.

Charli: Dixie, I stg. If you break into his house without permission- 

You put your phone back into your pocket and went to look for Noah.

You found Noah on the side of the house, looking through the windows for any clues of James. But, there was none found.

"What if he is in danger?" You asked Noah.

"Should we go in?" Noah asked.

"Yea, it's probably the right thing to do." You said.

"Okay lets go." Noah said, walking towards the front door.

You followed Noah to the front door. 

"It's locked." Noah said, trying to open the door.

"Well, no duh. It's probably locked for a reason." You said.

You and Noah looked around the porch for a key.

"Found it." You said, holding the key in your hands.

"Where was it?" Noah asked.

"In an obvious spot, under the welcome mat." You said, smiling. 

You gave the key to Noah and let him do the honors. He unlocked the door and gently opened it, so no one would hear anything. 

You and Noah had been to James's house multiple times, so you guys knew where everything was. You and Noah tried to be as quiet as you could. 

Both you and Noah looked everywhere on the first floor so you guys went to the second. You and Noah split up, you went to look on one half of the second floor while Noah looked at the second half. 

You first looked in the man cave. But no one was there. Then as you walked towards James's room, you heard something. You heard a book or something drop on the floor. Since you didn't want to walk pass James's room to get Noah, you texted him.

Messages:

You: I heard something in James's room. Hurry, quick. 

Noah: Coming.

Noah tipped toed towards you then he eventually opened the door-
