Today was thursday meaning you and Hotch needed to head to California. You were going 2 days before the case actually started so you could get a head start. "Okay remember there is no security systems inside the house but if you press on the button on your wedding rings that will send an alert to us. Oh and please be safe." Rossi said before we got on the jet. You sat down as Hotch sat next to you. " How are you?" He asked. You looked up towards his face surprised by the softer look on his face, it wade the his stern work face but a face that showed kindness and worry. "I'm good, but I should be asking you that" you said with a small smile which he gladly returned. "What do you mean" he asked confused, "you know what I mean Hotch, you've Been yelling over the phone for the past month" he nodded and sighed "about 2 months ago I found Hayley in bed with this man, she wanted to work it out but it just wasn't for me. We just finalized the divorce a week ago." you hesitantly wrapped him in a hug and were surprised when his strong arms wrapped around you. Suddenly the jet started shaking from turbulence. "Please fasten your seatbelts" you heard the pilot say through the speakers. You and Hotch sped back to your seats and buckled in. The plane was shaking very violently, it was so violent you felt you were about to crash. You were nauseous from all the movement your face strained. You were a bit scared you were gonna die until you felt a bigger hand fit perfectly into yours. You looked over to see Hotch with the same look on his face. His not of fear but of the motion. "Ooh shit" you both mumbled almost in sync when the plane bounced. I felt my stomach settle when the plane finally landed on the airstrip. When you got all your bags and headed off the jet you instead ran to the nearest trash an and threw up. You felt a hand grab your hair back and another start to rub your back. You looked up when you finished puking to see Hotch."thanks Hotch" you said with a smile. You both hopped in the car and headed to your our rent home.

At the house
"So Marionette you ready to get into couple mode." Hotch asked " you bet Thomas" you said giggling. "Oh umm ok" he said "wanna get Chinese and watch a movie" you asked. He nodded and went to get the phone to order. "Pick the movie" you heard him kinda yell from downstairs as you were in the bedroom upstairs. You picked (your favorite movie) and laid down on the bed. You heard a knock on the door and a couple seconds later you heard Aaron yell " foods here" you got out of the bed and got some food on your plate.

"Y/n why do you like this movie" he asked genuinely wondering. " I dunno. I guess I just watched it and liked it" he nodded and laid down on the bed. It was late so you fell asleep while watching the 3rd movie of the night.

You woke up to a strong pair of arms wrapped around your waist. "Good morning" you heard a husk voice say as the arms were unwrapped from your waist. "Morning" you said back still sleepy. "Y/n we have to get up" he said shaking you. You hummed and rolled on to the floor. " get up y/n" said Hotch giggling. " noooo" you said in a sing-songy way. "Fine have it your way" Hotch said before he started dragging you and proceeding to throw you over his shoulder. You started to kick until he finally reached downstairs and put you down. "What the hell" you said in a Whiney voice. " ahh your awake" he said before he started cooking pancakes. You smiled at him and turned on the radio. You helped him make the pancakes until (your favorite song) came on the radio and you were surprised when Hotch sang along with you. It had been a couple minutes and you were both dancing around in the kitchen. You were tired and finally settled down. You didn't realize how close you were to him until. You could feel his breath on your face. He eye sight flickering between your eyes and lips. You both started to lean in and you were surprised when his soft lips smashed onto yours.
