Chapter 6: no more lies

Luffy's POV:

I sighed and tugged on the sleeves of the tux. "Don't do that you'll mess it up!" Nami ordered sternly. "Fine fine." I muttered as she adjusted my tie. "Alright..I think this one suits you the best." She said and took a step back. The suit was black and had buttons along the sides. The tie was a scarlet red and had pink cherry blossoms patterned on it. I didn't really care about any of this. I was just thinking about tarao for the most part. "Ok, I'm gonna go try on this dress you stay there." She said and marched into the dressing room. I examined my surroundings, tons of teenagers looking at clothes. Some I know from school. I held the suit in my hands with a firm grip, I wonder if torao would like this outfit..I wonder what he'll be wearing to. I blushed as I pictured him in fancy clothes. My thoughts were interrupted when Nami came out of the dressing room, "whatcha think?"

Law's POV:

I groaned as Cora-san kept digging around in his closet. "I could've sworn it was right here!" He said and kept throwing things in all different directions. "Is this really necessary?" I asked walking into the closet. "Of course it is! Your date deserves the best, not some cheap Macy's tux!" He said and I rolled my eyes. I made the drastic mistake of telling Cora i have a date and now he wants me to wear one of his old suits. "ahhhh I found it." I heard him say and he came out of the closet with a suit in hand. It was a dark grey suit, topped off with a fancy collar and a gold and black stripped tie. It wasn't half bad to be honest.  "Now go try it on. Now! Now!" He said and shoved it in my face. I quickly went to the restroom and undressed, putting on the suit in the process. I looked in the mirror. I'm not very confident self appearance wise but I look pretty nice..I adjusted the tie and walked out so Cora could get a good look. He turned to me and I could've sworn there was stars in his eyes. "AAHHHH YOU LOOK EVEN BETTER THAN I DID IN IT." He practically yelled and started snapping at least 10 pictures. "Ok ok, oh right! "He walked ran to the bathroom and no more than 5 minutes later he came back with a small hair comb. He started brushing strands of hair back and left just a few on my face. "Ahhhh perfect." He stated and took a step back. Just than I heard a ding rise from my phone, it was bepo. He offered me a ride along with penguin and Sachi. "That's my ride, gotta go." I said and slipped on dress shoes, walking to the front. "Have fun handsome" Cora yelled and I smiled faintly to myself. I opened the car door to see Sachi and penguin playing Rock Paper Scissors in the back while bepo had his hands on the wheel. I sat in the passenger's seat and sighed. "Daaamnnn law didn't know you had such class." Penguin said and I shrugged. "Alright which one of us is sneaking the weed in?" Sachi stated. "I hope your joking." I said and they laughed in sync as bepo began to drive.

Luffy's POV:

"Do you have your keys, and the pepper spray?, oh and don't forget the ticket!" Sabo said and patted my pockets. "I'm fine!" I pouted but he practically ignored me. "Is that enough hair gel?" Ace muttered turning my head side to side, comb in hand. "It's fine now stop!" I whined. "Alright alright," they said. I heard a car honk outside. "Must be my freinds! I gotta go!" I said and quickly slipped on fancy shoes "be back by midnight, and no hooking up with people!" Sabo yelled. "unless they're rich!—" Ace began and I assume he was hit on the head. "Shut up!" and I giggled while running outside. I opened the door and got in the back seat, Franky has a really big car so it was easy for all of us to fit. I sat next to Nami, I scanned the car and saw zoro holding hands with a flushed Sanji, while taking a sip of sake. Robin was in the front with Franky while Ussop and chopper where exchanging snacks. "How much longerrr" I whined and slumped against the chair. "You barely got here! Why are you complaining?!" Nami yelled adjusting her golden hair pin. "Oi who's gonna sneak the sake in?" Zoro said and we all shrugged. "Oi how bout chopper." Chopper squealed and looked at zoro wide eyed. "W-what?! No!" He sighed. "Oh c'mon they'll suspect you the least, he's a freshman with SUPER grades who doesn't get in trouble and stuff." Franky said pulling into the school parking lot. "If anyone asks just say you don't know anything about any sake. Besides you got Ussop with you he's a good liar." Ussop frowned. "I have feelings to you know!" I laughed as we all left the car one by one.
