Once the sound of the backdoor of the apartment echoed in the rest of the house Helena turned slowly to look at William. She wasn't sure, if he was mad with her or disappointed or anything else. She surely wasn't prepared, for what she came to meet on the apartment that evening. And from first hand she knew, how much Will was close to his family. Mostly people of their society would throw her like a bad seed out of the garden and they'd be right to do so. What she was compared to him anyway? Nothing. "Will, I had no idea about all this," she said quietly.

He turned his eyes from the door, after his parents left, with slightly confused look. "Don't you tell me, that you'd apologize for this,"he shook his head and took her hand into his. "I swear, if I knew, they'd do this, I'd never allow it."

"They worry." She swallowed hard, looking at him. She wasn't blaming them of course. Others wouldn't even bother to meet with her, just paid her money to leave or even kill her to get her out of the way.

Of course he knew, that they did it for safety of the family, but he was mad, they didn't inform him about their plan. "I swear, they are not so weird all the time," he smirked and turned to see her fully.

With a small sigh she smiled back and took his hand on her own. "I would expect worst from them. Even me. I don't know, what I would say to my future son, who's associated with a...well someone like me." She chuckled, shaking her head. "Will... I..i think it's better, if we stop see eachother." Her face turned serious and almost dark. Of course it wasn't what she wanted, but she knew, what was coming for him, if they continue meeting.

He stood up from a chair, where he was sitting. Kneeling in front of her, he came to cup her face and looked into her eyes. "Stop saying foolish things, Helena. I promised you, I'd find a way, how to get you out of here. And I will keep that promise. You'll be free," he whispered and kissed her lips. "Partly, cus I expect you to marry me," he murmured against het lips, smiling.

"What?" She froze with her glossy eyes, looking at him half shooked and happy. "Will..." she whispered again ,studying his face. Her heart almost blasted from the fast beat. "Do you really mean that, Will?" She kissed him again and again.

"Every single question my parents gave me, only made me to be sure, that I want you. Yes, Helena. I want to be with you, breathe for you," he spoke against her lips, looking into her deep brown eyes. "We'll get from this together. Do you trust me?"

"Yes!" She wrapped her arms around him to feel him close. She just wished, they could run away the same night together and for a moment she allowed herself to forget, who was the man, she worked for. "Will.. What about the Crow?" She sighed, resting her forehead on his own. "What we'll do with him?"

"In all my honesty, I have no idea. And..." he shook his head and sat necxt to her, "...maybe it's good, my parents know about you and him. Now I can ask for their advice. Help, perhaps. I'm thinking about it over and over again. To talk to him? Pay him? But can you even pay man like him to make him satisfied and be sure, he won't want anything back?"He pondered, looking at her. "But I need to do it as soon as possible. God damnit, yesterday was late," he closed his eyes, holding his forehead against hers.

"You can't talk with someone like him, Will." She brushed his cheek softly. "Man like him will find a way into your life, if you let them. And once he's sure, he has a hold on you, he'll use you or someone from your family to get more." A shaking breath came out. That was the truth,he wasn't a man someone would want a deal with. He offered only death and it was hard to get to him. Even she barely met him few times, mostly she communicate with his men.
