The continuous echoing of warm liquid hitting the worn pavement below had become a cynical configuration of music for it's victim. As suspended above in the air; her slender legs dangling about loosely. While a woman's wrists were bound my chains. Chains which gave off a sinister magic seeped into the very iron itself. Ceasing any flow of magic power throughout the body of the prisoner. Though it was not as if the prisoner would dare to release that magic power of hers. And her captors knew this of her. As they should; for she had been imprisoned for a months time. An entire month of unrelenting torment; of which the silver haired maiden took in stride. Never once muttering even a word. Only earning more lashes upon her once flawless flesh; as horrid purplish welts littered her body. Even so; she did not shed a tear.

As for her captors it seemed to them that the girl had an iron clad will that was unshakable. With crimson dripping down her body, the woman's blurred vision focused on the ground below her. Entranced by rhythmic patter of her blood hitting the ground seemed to draw the woman's consciousness to surface. Her once vacant eyes were reignited with life; for her cerulean eyes now recognized her surrounding. The weight of the woman's own head nearly overwhelmed her, though still with all her might she bid her head to rise. Sensing the presence of one of her many captors; however unlike the others. This one held a malignant magic which filled the air with it's rotten stench. Causing even the young woman to wretch at times. Though today was a weak day for the woman, as she was barely able to raise her head. The torture upon both her body and psyche was beginning to surface. Whether she willed it or not.

Though this preparator kept his features hidden from the young girl; she knew of his heinous magic. As it was indeed similar to her own. She detested the magic which filled her. The young girl knew of the cursed exsistence forced upon her since she was a child. A lost magic as ancient as it was deadly. One far beyond her control even now; for it took all the young wizard's willpower to force this horrific magic at bay. The entity seeming to wreak havoc upon those who trespassed against it. But the young girl would not allow such a time to ever come. No; she had sworn many years ago. She would never call upon the might which dwelled within her. Knowing that merely uttering the name would sends hundreds in the area to burn away. Leaving only a pile of ash in it's wake. The young Wizard knew this all too well; for she had seen it countless of times.

A prisoner in her own body; the young Wizard was forced to witness countless deaths by her hand. Hands she never wished to be soaked in hands. The very hand that trembled as a small child in the ruins of her village. Frightened of the large world outstretched before her. And now those very hands were bound, unable to harm another soul. In a way the young Wizard believed perhaps this was her punishment. Her failure to qwell the thirst of the magic within her. This would be her payment in blood; with this perhaps her soul could be saved. With these haze of thoughts filling her mind; the male intruder turned his gaze to the suspended woman. Her frail state sickening him to the core; an anger filled him everytime he layed eyes on her. A deep resentment that ceased to be satiated until that "Lost Magic" the woman held was his. Tremendous magic that countless of Wizards would die for;yet she refused to call out to it. Something that is second nature to Wizards; but this foolish woman refused such luxury. She did not deserve that massive power within her; and soon it would be ripped from her. Leaving the woman with what she has wished for so long. Death.

With his steel gaze transfixed upon the frail woman; the man scoffed. Commenting on the woman's foolish actions. "I do not understand you, nor do I intent to." The man began, nonchalantly circling the growing puddle of blood. His voice echoing about the tall walls and ceilings about the prison. With a mere snap of his fingers; the chains which held the woman seemed to come to life. Increasing their grip about the young woman's wrists. She bit down on her tongue until she could taste the familiar metalic taste in her mouth. She would not scream; she did not deserve such a luxury. Annoyed at her persistence; the Wizard from below sent a storm of black electricity which shot through the woman's entire body. Her body thrashed around quite erratically; her head swiveling as she struggled not to swallow her own tongue. She could taste not only her own blood but smoke which she choked on. All the while current after current was thrust upon the young Wizard. Though a single tear streamed down her right cheek; mixing amid the blood below.

Bored of this tiresome game; the Wizard ceased his assault on the young girl. Her body hanging rather limp in the air; whilst smoke radiated from the silent woman. Though she did not scream it mattered not to the Wizard, for he knew that come tomorrow night everything would be in order. And that tiresome girl; one who refused to use her divine magic would breath her last breath. And he alone would be the strongest among his Guild. One that recognized not only the strongest, but those with rather unique magic. This man was one of these powerful members who only sought one thing. Power. Their thirst was never satisfied. The young woman whom he held prisoner would only be the first of many whom he would devour. A simple stepping stone in his plan; and it all started with a single girl. One of great beauty, nonetheless beauty would get one nowhere. Not in this terror yet magic filled world.

With a smirk upon his face; the man turned his back to the woman. Informing her that upon his return, she would die. Many hearing those words would break down, sobbing into the bitter night air. Screaming for help until their voices went hoarse. But she did not. The silver haired woman merely smiled at his words; almost rather mockingly as she muttered "If only it were that easy to kill me." Her words lingered in the air before the woman soon fell victim to fatigue. However she knew time was running out; her time mattered not to her. No; it was the time of others. The woman was well aware of her inability to control her swelling magic power; she was also aware of her wall nearing. Soon she would be unable to hold back the burning might of magic which she desperately sought to cage. Soon more lives would be snatched from this world; and it was all because of her.

Their reasonings for her capture was meaningless to the young Wizard. It was their lives; innocent or not. A strange trait for a Wizard, especially one of her capabilities. A sense of misplaced compassion that would only end in bloodshed. Tears of sorrow slithered down the woman's cheeks as she slept; for already she was apologizing to the lives she would soon dispatch.
