The silver haired woman welcomed the silence she had been given; she could not recall a time when her thoughts were truly hers alone. Even in the wake of death; a bitter smile one she hoped to keep her when she was swept away by death. However her silence was broken upon noticing the pool of crimson below her feet. The young woman stared as the liquid slid across the ground; forming an intricate magic circle. One that gave off an ominous black hue; soon strange chanting filled the woman's ears. Her eyes now fixated upon 5 figures cloaked in darkness. Dripping in magic that stained the very ground they stood upon. The young Wizard's smile however remained despite the chanting; her eyes upon the looming moon above.
Her lone sanctuary in her final moments; a smile of both bitterness and relief ever plastered on her face. Even as the luminous black glow of the magic circle intensified; revealing a cluster of grotesque shadow appendages. Ones that scratched at the very ground below, seeking the very life of the woman. Stifling back a brief gasp, the pit of arms soon longed from their magic circle. Latching themselves upon the dangling woman who refused to fight back. Her cerulean gaze still upon the full moon; a focal point for her. She would feel no pain; only relief. Even as the hands that grabbed at her flesh seemed to dye her very flesh a sickly black hue. One that ever slowly crawled up the young Wizard's body. She could feel the warmth of her body leaving her; as the pulsing in her chest increased drastically. Causing the young woman to utter a silent sob into the air. One that pleased the onlookers who sought her magic alone.
A heat forming at the center of the woman's chest; as streaks of gold light began to pour from her chest. As did the wails of the woman; her magic; her life being stripped from her. Her body thrashed about violently in her restraints; her very magic and life being channeled within the black hands which bound her. Ones that slowly receded to the ground below once they had their fill. Only to return with twice the appetite; one even grasping onto the young woman's throat. Slowly choking her to death; she could not help but to wheeze. The desire to live sparking within her for a moment. Tears brimming in her cloudy gaze; the woman came to a conclusion. She did not wish to die here. But knew her decision had come far too late. Through bleary eyes the woman silenced herself. Coming to a realization that she would indeed meet her end here.
The ground begins to tremble throughout the area; reaching even to the borders of Magnolia. Where a certain Guild had sensed the malicious magic nearby. As such the "Guild Master" Makarov; sent three of his fellow children to stop the darkness which dwelled. Three capable and powerful wizards who fought with the love of their Guild; no their family in their hearts. Master Makarov had no doubt that his children would return safely and the dangers that threatened not only their home; but the life of another could be stopped. Even now as the three Wizards dashed towards the source of the magic; a pillar of gold light pierced the sky above their target. A mass of magic pouring from the tower before them; shaking the foundation they stood on. Though to the red headed woman who had accompanied the two other Wizards; she sensed something about the pillar of light. Seeing it as a beacon; almost as if someone was calling out to them.
She stood before the decrepit tower; where the light continued to defy gravity. Leaving the three Wizards enchanted and abit nervous of what they were to face within. "We can't stop now." The crimson haired woman declared; her eyes upon the tower. Unable to break her gaze from the intense light; though a sudden warmth could be felt from the gold light. As gentle as an embrace; but as deadly as chaos itself. This alarmed the woman, but she stuck to her word. Leading her two companions into the tower. However upon entering the tower; a young man with spiky pink haired pointed upwards. Remarking on the constant screams that wracked their ears. And it's source was coming from above them. "What the hell is going on in this tower? All I sense is some creepy magic and—somethig else." Commented another Wizard, whom stood rather calmly beside his pink haired companion.
His left hand to his chin as the young man thought to himself. The Fairy Tail emblem plaster upon his chest. He was a proud member; one known for his specialty in Ice Make Magic. "It's something bad that for sure. We should keep moving upwards. Be prepared for anything. " Ordered the red haired woman whom wore immaculate silver armor that glistened in the moonlight. Agreeing the three climbed the wanning stairs connected to the worn walls. Though no matter how many stairs the group climbed, their destination forever loomed ahead. Causing the pink haired man to scream in frustration. Fire spilling from his lips "Were getting nowhere! What is it with this place?!" He shouted earning an annoyed snort from his friend. " Chill out why don't you, before the whole tower hears us." "Don't tell me what to do!" "Or what Flameboy?!" "You wanna go Popsicle?!" The men argued causing the red haired woman to interrupt the skirmish with a single glare which sent chills down the men's spines. "Knock it off." She spat as immediately Natsu Dragneel and Gray Fullbuster fell to their knees. Apologizing to the one they both feared and respected. The beautiful "Queen of Fairies Titania." Or her referred name Erza Scarlet. One of Fairy Tails strongest Wizards; and one that had quite a temper that could put even the wild of members to heel.
Erza released a brief sigh, however annoyed she was about the fit between Gray and Natsu. She could not help to find clarity in Natsu's statement. He was correct; the three members had been running up the stairs for at least 20 minutes. And yet it felt as if they had barely moved. "I believe we could be trapped in some sort of illusion." Erza muttered as Natsu exclaimed that he was right. Erza nodded her head towards his comment, though she informed them that they were already in the thralls of danger. The moment those words left Erza's lips; her shadow itself began to twist. Bending at unnatural angles before stretching from the very ground itself. The sudden act alarmed Erza, who turned on her heels. Unable to act as her own shadow devoured the stunned Erza. Her body dissolving into the blackness. Natsu and Gray screamed Erza's name; hoping that she could hear them. Enraged Natsu hissed declaring they would save Erza. Only to earn a brief sinister giggle which bounced off the hollow walls of the tower.
Gray glares; turned about the tower demanding their enemy to show themselves. It was then that from the rippling shadow that had consumed Erza; that a single arm manifested. Soon a leg and then an entire body. Only this was not Erza Scarlet. No instead a woman stood before the two wizards. The billowing shadows clinging to the woman's body; seeming to make up her very clothes and body itself. She held a deathly pale complexion; garnet hued eyes which pierced the darkness she bore. A smirk was plastered upon the woman's face, a mass of dark magic rippling off the woman in waves. "Who the hell are you? And what did you do to Erza?!" Spat Natsu, only earning another giggle from the woman. She held her right hand before her allowing blackness to collect within her grasp. Blackness which morphed into fairly large sickle which the woman held with a single hand with ease. "I am Dahena, Goddess of Dark. You will all face true darkness in the torment of solitude." Dehena declared her words angering Natsu who immediately took off running towards the woman. Rage flashing in his eyes "We'll see about that!" Natsu Dragneel shouted as battle would ensue. One that even Fairy Tails strongest members may fall to.
