It's just a couple months shy of a year since I finished this book, and only now am I finally writing my thank you letter. When I first had the idea for this story, I was in the seventh grade at a new school. Being the new kid is weird and I didn't fit in. This new school was a month or so behind in lessons in comparison to my previous school, so I had already learned the material and finished my work faster than the other kids, so they thought I was a nerd obviously.

So as I sat after my work was done in Math class, no friends to talk to, there was a stray piece of paper on the floor. I picked it up and began to write the first few sentences of this book. After the last bell rang and I went home though, I didn't write on it anymore. I had the story whirring around in my head for about one and a half years after that, but I never got the words onto paper. Then I discovered Wattpad.

I'm very introverted, nervous as hell whenever someone reads or looks at something I created, so it took bunches and bunches of trying to convince myself to upload the first chapter of what used to be "A Terrible Yet Perfect Life". I realized that name was too long and sounded a bit like a soap opera, so I changed it.

As I was saying, eventually, on May 24th, 2013 with crossed fingers and held breath, I uploaded the first chapter. And that night in less that just a few hours, it got over 200 reads. That may not be so impressive to you, but I was shocked and on the verge of busting into a stupid dance and crying my eyes out. But I didn't tell my family what the name of the story was called or what it was about, after all it is about a girl who get impregnanted after being, well, you know. But my mother found the story and read it, leading to my aunt and other family members and friends discovering it, which was great in the end. I think this book kind of helped me find who I am, as corny and cliche as that sounds. It helped me come out of my shell even if just by an inch.

Lastly, thank you. Thank you all for following, reading, commenting, voting and just supporting me and this book as well. There aren't enough words to express how grateful I am for everything you've done. I wouldn't have kept uploading if weren't for you guys, and I wouldn't be able to say that I've written a real, completed book either. It's a pretty cool feeling tbh. This story was an incredibly amazing journey and experience, so I hope this next one will be too. I'm beginning a new book, and the first chapter has just went up today if you want to go give it a look.

Again, thank you so much and I hope you're having a wonderful day or night, wherever you are in the world. Stay cute. <3
