This is a week late, I know, but at least it's still up on a holiday c: HAPPY NEW YEARS! I'm putting this note at the beginning of the chapter because the cliffhanger at the end is the biggest one yet and I didn't want to ruin the effect of it. (; So throughout this chapter please comment every single thought you have about it - good or bad - because this the longest and the craziest/biggest chapter in the entire story. Vote if you love it, vote if you hate it, and I hope you guys had a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. There's a video on the side that shows the Christmas pajamas, the girls' dresses and Kasynne's entire ensemble for the Winter Formal, as well as a picture of Bentley's room and something else you'll find out later in the chapter.

Also, there's about four more chapters left until this story is finished and I'm absolutely dreading it because I don't want it to end cx But I'll quit blabbing and let you get to the chapter. Thanks so much for reading.

Love,

Jaye x

“Arin get up!” I groan, shaking the raven-haired beauty from her slumber. “It’s Christmas morning and my mom is making cinnamon rolls! Get. Up.”

It’s currently about eight a.m. on Christmas morning and I’m bright-eyed and bushy-tailed aka wide awake. This day is the only day out of the year that I’m a morning person.

“But the sun isn’t even up yet,” she complained, rolling back over to squish her face into one of my pillows.

“Yes it is you moron. You can’t suffocate yourself in my pillow! Get up now!” I finalized, pulling her arm with enough force to make her topple off the bed and onto the floor with a loud humph.

“Kasynne!” she whined. “That really hurt!”

“It’s your fault! We could have done it the easy way if you would’ve just gotten your lazy ass up,” I reply smugly, though I was quickly chastised for my language from my mother who was downstairs. She has ears like a bat, I swear.

“Why are girls so noisy?” Tyler asked to himself as he walked by my room in his Santa suit night clothes. Arin picked herself up from the floor sluggishly, smoothing out her short and red plaid pajama gown; it was quite cute.

“Merry Christmas!” I chirped at her cheerfully. She glared at me for a couple seconds before her lips curved into a grin. She shook her head as I started to jump up and down from excitement, Christmas obviously being my favorite holiday.

“Merry Christmas, weirdo,” she mused, bumping her hip against mine before exiting my room and prancing down the stairs.

I looked into my mirror for a moment, placing a hand on my growing baby bump and smile. My hair was in a disorderly bun sort of thing at the back of my head, loose tendrils falling from it in every place though it didn’t look too sloppy. Hearing a shuffling from my door, I turn around to face the person who came in and instantly my smile stretches.

“Merry Christmas,” Ryan says in a raspy, tired voice.

“Merry. . .” I began, drifting off as I eye him over, my smile quickly falling from its place. “Where’re your pajamas?”

You see, in this house it’s a tradition to wear festive pajamas, that explaining Tyler’s which looked like a Santa suit, Arin’s red nightgown, and mine which was a light, fleecy white top with long sleeves that said in colorful letters; Staying up for Santa!  It puffed out at the bottom and the collar was thin and red with a tiny bow. Oh and red and white striped leggings.
