Rich kid schools are so scary.. [name] shuddered, scanning the lineup of delicious snacks and meals. "Uhh.. do they have an apple..?" [name] turned their gaze towards Miya, who was raising a brow in perplexity. "An apple..? Uh yeah, I think so. but are you just gonna get an apple? You might get hungry."

"Are you concerned for me?" [name] purred, erupting a chaff between the two middle-schoolers. "Huh?! No way!" He hissed, bringing up his hands and moving them around, as if he was attempting to scratch them with his nails—similar to a cat, precisely.

Miya shook his head, "Just pick already." [name] hummed at his assertion, pivoting on their heel to proceed scanning the section of foods.

"This one." [name] drew their finger towards the glass panel that obstructed them from the delicacy they aimed their finger at.

Miya followed the trail of their hands, deadpanning immediately at the sight.

"It seems that our opinions differ—actually, have you eaten yet?" [name] poked their fork onto the satisfying surface of the applepie, plunging the succulent nutriment that sent brief waves of ecstasy.

"Nope." He responded, unfolding his textbook and began analyzing the contents. [name] frowned briefly, wondering for their lack of hunger. "Why so? Do you not crave for delicacies?"

Miya's gaze didn't move away from the textbook on the table, scribbled with greek gibberish [name] couldn't bother to understand. they were a musician, they only preferred math when it was related to glorious melodies.

"Oh by the way—" He gagged, a piece of applepie shoved into his mouth without any notice. "Wh—Why would you?!—" He began coughing, eyes twitching quite marginally. "You idiot!! I can't eat sweet things like this, I'm an athlete!" He prevented himself from slamming down his fists on the solid surface of the table, not wanting to attract any attention from the students in the area.

"And I'm a musician, your point is?" [name] rose a brow, before breathing out a sigh of disbelief at his anger.

"Athlete or not, you are gradually becoming unhealthier if you skip mealtimes. remaining healthy is your resolve, am I wrong?" They shoved another spoon of applepie into his agape mouth, making him choke once more in the process of swallowing.

They snickered, "Then eat!" preparing to plunge another down his throat, Miya placed his hands before him in defense. "I will! I will! Just stop that you idiot!"

Miya grumbled, as [name] beamed at his volant relingquish, ecstatic at the prompt negotion—even though it was one-sided.

"I'll stop only if you never skip meals unless its absolutely necessary!"

"Nothing!"

Miya deadpanned, vexation creeping onto his features at the unsightly comedic ambience of bright flowers rotating around them, were they perhaps some child disguising as a middle schooler? the theory wasn't entirey inconceivable. they were faintly similar to a certain redhead, but the 14 year old was strangely more sibylline and irritating.

"Fine, Whatever."

They extended their pinkie finger, grinning innocently. "Pinkie promise?"

"Just kidding," They stuck their tongue out, "Now eat!"
