When you're a princess, you expect all of the lavish dresses and elegant balls. What you don't expect is to witness your own lover be tortured over and over until you can't cry anymore. You don't expect to be treated like a common whore, or feel like a pig. You'd think you would be kept in a nice room with a beautiful view of the garden. Nope, you're stuck in a cell. Want to know how it all happened? It's quite simple really. It all happened over the past two days.

"What brings you back so soon, Sita?" Jason's voice isn't any more than a whisper, but it still sends chills down my spine. Michael is eyeing me like I'm a buttery and delicious croissant he can't have.

"I came back because I was homesick, Father," I keep my voice polite and I see satisfaction shimmer in his eyes. He thinks that he's won. My instincts are telling me to rip out his throat right here and now, but I know I must wait to see what he's planning in his chambers.

Sita, what are you doing? Trixon is starting to panic, but he trusts me as I trust him, with my life.

I'm simply telling him that I missed him. I need to see what he's planning before I act on our strategy. We don't want the fun to stop so soon, do we?

No, I guess not.

Thank you. I love you.

And I you. Trixon pulls out from my mind, but is still there with me. I watch to see what Jason will say. He doesn't respond and I realize he is talking to Michael telepathically.

"Father? Is something the matter?" I innocently ask. To me it sounds so false, and I pray that it sounds convincing to him. He looks up.

"Huh? No, child, nothing's wrong. I was just simply asking my dear Michael what we should do." He's lying to my face and he knows that I know. What they were really talking about was the quickest way to get rid of us.

"Father, it is only Trixon and I coming into the castle grounds. The others are just here to see me off. It is cold out, may we come in?" I put on my most childish pout and turn it on them.

"Of course, Sitrana, Trixon. The others may come in as well," Get ready, everyone. More than likely, he has a whole horde waiting inside to rip us apart. Jason turns to walk away with Michael right behind him.

Trixon and I follow them closely. Trixon drapes his arm over my shoulders and pulls me close to him. I remember a few years ago when we had reunited at this very castle. The castle's dungeon to be exact.  Trixon had unchained me and led me to the main room where Michael was being chained up. I had overreacted and attacked Jason and some of the other Council leaders.

I lean into Trixon's side, conscious of the eyes on my back and the eyes ahead. I know that we are being watched at every angle, but it still freaks me out. Jason opens the door and leads us inside of the castle. Most people would've looked around to see what was around them, but I just kept walking behind Jason and Michael. Aris keeps whistling innocently and Kajo keeps sniffing around, looking for something to set off warning alarms. Jason opens a door nearby and motions for us to follow him. We wearily walk through the double oak doors and stick close together. A memory flashes behind my eyes and I fall into it.

"Papa, what room is this?" I look up to my father, Jonas, and await his answer. He looks down at me and I se worry cross his eyes.

"It is the room where all of the prisoners are kept and tortured when the dungeon is full. Sweetie, you don't need to know all of the details right now, okay?" I see pleading in his eyes and I know why he's so scared.
