I Met Him On Minecraft

Chapter 6

The next morning, I felt really happy. I'd been feeling really down lately and this morning I felt like all my troubles had gone away. I check my phone and see a message from Cassie asking if we were still on for the weekend. I send her a little reply message saying that we were. I'd completely forgotten about the sleepover

I slowly wake up and head downstairs for breakfast.

"Morning" I say cheerily

"Morning" replies mum "why are you so cheery this morning?"

"Oh no reason, just happy"

"Righto" she says, smiling "don't forget you have a sleepover with Cassie tonight"

"I won't" I chatted with mum as I ate breakfast then I headed back up to my room to get ready

I played music as I cleaned my room. I was listening to some weird song that my friend had downloaded. After about 5 minutes of cleaning I decided I deserved an internet break. I logged into my email and noticed I had a few from Jason that had only been sent a few minutes ago. They had subjects like REALLY IMPORTANT and PLEASE READ. I open one up and see that it's all about the wedding on minecraft. He wants it to be the biggest ever minecraft wedding. He wants me to be happy but he also wants it to be something everyone talks about for ages after. I read all the emails then send him a message telling him that all looks well. I shut my laptop and blast my music so that my mind will be on it and won't spend the whole time thinking about logging into minecraft

After about 2 hours my room is finally clean. I walk over to my computer and move to open minecraft but as I do I hear a knock at the door

"ILL GET IT" I yell down the stairs. I run down and open the door to see a very happy looking Cassie

"Hey Ophi" she says in a happy voice as she launches forward to hug me

"Hey Cassie" I laugh as she pulls away. We both walk up to my room so she can put her stuff down

"I brought my computer. Where can I put it?"

"Um just put it there with mine" I say gesturing in the general direction of my desk "look what I got" I pull out my phone and scroll through the contacts until I find Hales

"What?" Cassie asks as she sits down next to me on my bed. I show her the screen with Hales name and contact details written quite clearly across it "Oh. My. God! How the hell did you get his number??"

"He asked for mine then he gave me his" Hale sits with us sometimes at school. He has a lot of friends though so he moves who he sits with all the time

"He....he. Oh my god you're so lucky!!!!" she was so jealous "but wait, you're with that guy.....what's his name?"

"Jason"

"Yeah him"

"I know I know" I sigh "I'll work it all out....somehow"

We spent the rest of the night chatting until I decided I'd show Cassie the world of minecraft. As soon as I logged on I got overwhelmed with questions about the wedding. I tried my best to answer them all then sun came to my rescue

"You see the guy with the hot skin? That's sun" I tell Cassie "come on I'll show you the castle then we can log off" I showed her around the whole castle. Where sun and I sleep, the library and all the other rooms. Then I showed her where sun proposed. I was just about to log off when sun started to private message me

"Hey princess" he said

"Hey sun" I look over at Cassie. She was rummaging through her bag for something "sorry I was just about to log off, text me later?"

"Ok princess but don't keep me waiting too long"

I log off just as Cassie produces the movie 27 dresses and some Doctor Who episodes from her bag

"I'll make the popcorn, you set up the Doctor Who" I say as I walk out of my room. I head down stairs and make some popcorn and grab us some bottles of coke. When I got back to my room, Cassie had everything set up. We watched Doctor Who and 27 dresses until one in the morning when Cassie declared she was tired and out of popcorn. We both got into bed and chatted until Cassie dropped off

When Cassie was asleep I started playing with my phone. It wasn't long before I got a message from Jason. At the exact same time I got a message from Hale. I decided to answer Jason's first.

"Hey princess. I couldn't stand the thought of not talking to you for another second" hid written

"You are so sappy"

"Yeah but that's what you love about me" he texted back immediately

"I was just about to fall asleep but you woke me" I lied. I knew it was horrible but I wanted to be able to talk to Hale without feeling like Jason was looking over my shoulder

"Oh I'm sorry baby; I'll let you get your beauty sleep. Good night my precious princess"

"Goodnight" as soon as I was sure he wasn't going to surprise text me, I checked Hales message

"Are you still awake?" he wrote

"Yeah"

"Oh good. I was about to give up hope"

"Sorry, I was reading my book but iv finished now" more lying. This is a habit I wish I wasn't getting into

"Oh ok. I was just wondering if you'd like to come to the movies with me tomorrow."

"Like....a date?" I could feel my heart beating faster

"Yeah.....if you don't want to come I totally understand"

"No, I'd love to come. What time?"

"Well there's a screening of the hobbit at midday"

"Sounds perfect. I'll ask my parents in the morning"

"Awesome. See you outside the cinema at 11:30?"

"Sure"

"K. night"

"Night"

'OMG I just got a date with Hale!!!!' that was all I could think. It worked out perfectly too. Cassie had a soccer game tomorrow at 11 so her mum was picking her up at 10. Cassie and I were meant to go see the hobbit together but I remember her saying that her cousin really wanted to go see it with her. So tomorrow I just had to ask mum. I went to sleep that night a happy woman

Seeing two guys at once? I wasn't the smartest girl
