Jungkook was so embarrassed that Jimin had to take him apart and talk some courage into him.''It's fine. It's not like it is his own car. And besides he said it's all cool, he's not mad or anything.'' The pink haired rubbed comforting circles on his back, trying his best to console the panicking boy who was too late to inform he had to vomit. ''Why didn't you say anything, you stupid? I know I'm always joking about it but I only do that because I'm trying to get your mind somewhere else.''
''I don't think I can face him again.'' Jungkook wiped the tears out of his eyes as color slowly regained in his face. Jimin had to chuckle. ''Dude, you're overreacting. Suck it up. Shit happens.''
''If it makes you feel better, I threw up in Jimin's car once because I drank way too much and tried to cover it up. He only found out about it three days after. That shit was nasty as fuck.'' Taehyung appeared laughing after having somewhat cleaned and parked the rental car in the parking lot located on top of the bridge.
''Come, now your stomach is empty, there's a lot of space for delicious food. And what a coincidence they have delicious food here.'' Taehyung grinned and slung his arms around both the roseate and the ravenette's shoulders, making the younger boy blush feverishly.
Taehyung had reserved a table for three in the Red Sky Cafe on the fifth floor. Inside it was already bustling with people, young couples, and few families that simply enjoyed each other's company while relishing the melodic tunes of smooth jazz music.
All previous embarrassment and doubt vanished from Jungkook's system upon entering this new experience. The place had a comfortable semblance with cool jazzy lights from the ceiling. Taehyung was right about the sun setting, as the sky was already taking an orange glowy hue.
They gathered around a table with a breathtaking view that stretched widely over the dividing line of Seoul, the Han River, and both Jungkook and Jimin let out a sound of awe.
They watched how the sun sank below the horizon. Along both sides of the Han River, riverside highways lit up with street lights. Thin clouds settled along the horizon of the river and the sunset furtherly tinted the sky.
At such a moment, the city was covered with a blanket of silence. A couple who sat on their right looked at each other through loving eyes and fed each other ice cream but turned their eyes towards the river to see the last gasp of beauty before the death of the day.
The slow and calm flow of the Han River, the dancing headlights of cars, and the riverside buildings lighting up as darkness fell. All these scenes created a quiet moment, a moment to reflect. A silent cheer of happiness that bloomed inside Jungkook's chest. It was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen.
Upon hearing him exhale deeply, Jungkook's eyes flickered over to the man next to him. Seeing Taehyung's faultless sculpted face illuminate with that gorgeous hue of orange and pink. Perfectly capturing his side profile and revealing his impeccable features. Scrap that, this was the most beautiful thing he had ever seen.
Dark cryptic eyes suddenly stared straight into his, a clear reflection of the sun dipping beneath the horizon visible in them. ''It's dangerous to look directly into the sun.'' His voice was deep, double entendre prominent, and lips already pulling into that annoying side lobbed smirk. Jungkook blinked, heat rushing up to kiss his cheeks, and jerked his head to look ahead. But the sun was already gone, together with the quiet moment, it had dispersed into the early night.
''Feel any better yet?'' Jimin asked when Taehyung had gone to order drinks and- as he kept calling it- delicious food. Jungkook nodded. He had felt better the moment he emptied his stomach and the car came to a halt. ''But don't think I'll let this slide so easily. I'm still mad you didn't tell me we were going out. I had not even showered.'' He grimaced.
