-CHAPTER 1-
A Not so Normal day

It's been almost 3 years since I had a bed to sleep in. I saw on the news through a TV shop that the Bad guys' bodies were found in an alleyway. They found out that those bad guys have murdered many people and had a bunch of felonies that they've done. But they knew it obviously wasn't a suicide. They knew that another person had killed them. Little did they know it was only a 15-year-old kid that had.
I walked through thick blankets of snow that were spread out all throughout the city. There was a snow storm happening and I had nowhere to go for shelter.
It began to get difficult to walk through the snow. I finally gave up and rested in an alleyway. I began to close my eyes. Is this it? Is this the last time I exist on earth? Before my eyes closed shut I saw a man crouching down to look at me.
All I could see was his dark brown eyes through my blindfold before my eyes shut closed and tight.
After a few minutes, I gained consciousness. I soon opened my eyes and saw a man with brown eyes and dark orange hair carrying me. A dark denim colored blanket covered me. Luckily I wasn't so cold anymore. I then closed my eyes and began fainting again.

-AVIKAS-

We were not able to train today because of the snowstorm sadly. I believed I was getting better at using my Mind Control on people. I guess it's not as powerful yet because Mr. Allrix can break out of his stance. We were all playing video games while Cinnamon was making some hot chocolate for us.
"HAH! In your face, nerd." Falkor told Pilot. Pilot hung his head down in disappointment.
"I practiced so hard!" Pilot groaned. I pat him on the back, chuckling a little.
"Just keep trying," I told him. He nodded his head. I turned to Falkor, seeing his mischievous grin.
"I'm the best at video games. No one can beat me!" He exclaimed in confidence. I took the controller from Pilot.
"We'll see about that.." I dueled Falkor. After a few minutes, I finally had won. I'll admit, he was pretty good.
Falkor gritted his teeth in annoyance. "I wanna rematch!" he told me. I shrugged as an answer to his 'order'. I believed it was pretty easy winning again, but yet, I was wrong. He has won this round.
"Hah! In your face, dumbass!" He gloated. I crossed my arms and pouted.
"Whatever, It was only one round," I muttered. He turned to me with a grin.
"Does that mean Queen Cranky wants to play another round?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.
"The hell do you think you are calling me Queen Cranky? You're literally always cranky." I pouted and looked away from him. I then felt a tug on my ponytail.
"Who do you think you're talking to? I will murder you goddamnit!" He tugged harder, causing me to jerk back.
"Ow! Stop pulling on my hair, Moron!" I grabbed a handful of his blonde hair and also tugged.
"You're so gonna regret that." He muttered angrily.
"I could say the same to you." I pulled on his hair harder.

-AMAYA-

I woke up from angry shouting. Right as I had left my room, I saw two figures which were Avikas and Falkor, wrestling with each other, pulling on each other's hair. I rubbed my eyes and looked outside the huge window we had by the couch. I didn't realize it was already late out. I probably shouldn't have taken that nap. Now I won't be able to sleep. Cinnamon skipped towards me, handing me a hot drink.
"Hi, Amaya!" Cinnamon said with an outburst of happiness. Like always.
"So, if you want seconds it might take a while. Since everyone is learning how to take control of their powers, Aaron is using itty bitty flames to heat up the hot chocolate." Cinnamon sighed even with a smile.
"Oh, thanks. And I don't mind waiting." I smiled at her. I've always thought of her name to be a little odd, but if that's what she prefers to be called, so be it. I sipped the drink slowly and still burnt my tongue. I placed a napkin on it.
I looked around to try finding any of our trainers. Nope, nowhere in sight. Our trainer Mrs. Hanteri usually stayed inside during snowstorms. I mean, why wouldn't you be? You'd probably die from frostbite.
I took a seat by the window. I turned to Falkor and Avikas who were still fighting and tackling each other. Peyton was taking her turn with Universe playing a video game. Universe quickly won. I was pretty sure she used her glitch power on the TV.
It was a normal day that just didn't include training. The weather schedule has been ruining our chances at training our powers. Right as I was going to take another sip of my drink the door barged open. It was Mr. Avek holding a girl about my age.
