Cancer POV {The art work above is not mine, I just put it together and slapped some names on. Full credit to the artists!!}
The boys were already waiting in the arena. They barely payed us any attention, staring off into space.
"Hey," Aquarius said, noticing us first.
"Why so glum chum?" Gem asked.
"Chum?" Libra teased.
"Just wanted to test it out," she responded with a shrug. "But seriously you guys seem so depressed."
"Can you blame us?" Cap grumbled. "We could die, we have barely any knowledge of this place and time may be different here! We might leave here and our parents are dead and it's been 50 years! We don't know! So excuse me if I look upset!"
"Chill Cap," Libra said. "No need to bite the girl's head off." Cap rolled his eyes and walked away.
"Where's Ophiucus?" I asked not seeing our guide. My friends shrugged and we walked around aimlessly.
"Alright heroes!" Ophiucus said, scaring the crap out of me.
"You should wear a bell," Scorpio said. "You seriously need to get this whole greeting people and not scaring the living daylight out of them down." Ophiucus frowned and a crease appeared between his eyebrows.
"Anyway, we shall begin our training," Ophiucus said. "First we shall learn some basic knowledge of Imperia." Groans came from everyone but Virgo and Capricorn.
"Good," V said. "We need as much knowledge as possible. It'll help us."
"I see your point V," I whispred to her. "But it's really boring and how is history going to help?"
"You think history's boring huh?" Ophiucus asked. "Everyone who finds history boring raise their hand." Again everyone except V and Cap did. "Ok, tough crowd. What if I made it more interesting?"
"What are you?" Aries asked. "A history teacher?"
"I simply want to enlighten you Aries," he sighed. "You especially it seems." Aries cheeks turned red and her nostrils flared. "Now I won't tell the stroy, they will."
"They?" Aqua asked. "Who's they?" The air shimmer around us and the arena fadded away. I stood in a clearing, four people stood in the clearing. One woman and three men.
"These are the four element lords," Ophiucus's voice said. "They founded imperia. They each ruled over over an element, the elements being fire, earth, air and water. Lord Ignis ruled over fire, Lord Terra ruled earth, Lord Caelum ruled over air and Lord Unda ruled over water." A glow surrounded each person when Ophiucus said their name. "Together they built a kingdom," he continued and the scene shifted to a large throne room with four thrones, one red, one green, one silver and the other blue. "They named the kingdom Imperia and ruled happily and in harmony for a long time until the demons came." The scene changed again to humanoid creatures with horns and wings. Some big some small, all gathered together, brandishing weapons and making an army.
"The demons wanted to rule over Imperia, the lords were old and too weak to fight. Most of them on their deathbeds, if not dead already," Ophiucus said. "So the remaining lords, earth and air, sent a distress signal to the gods with their last bit of strengths. The gods heard their plees and gathered the twelve greatest heroes of the age." The scene shifted to 24 people on a hilltop. Twelve of them radiated a strong, demanding power, while the other radiated an aura of weaker but still impressive amount power. The twelve ones radiating the most power each heald a weapon.
"The gods had created the twelve weapons of legend. The sword of fire, the bow and arrows of earth, the knives of air, the sword water, the spear of fire, the earth sias, the air katars, the water whip, the fire bow and arrows, the earth scyth, the air katanas and the water ax," Ophiucus explained.
