Aquarius's POV
Guilt and regret nawed at me, I shouldn't have said those things to Cancer. She forgave easily but...what if she didn't forgive me? We were on our way the Kingdom Caeli, the kingdom of air to retrieve us air signs weapons.
"Hey, Cancer?" I whispered. She continued walking straight ahead and barely even sparing me a glance. I touched her her arm and she stopped, not wanting to cause a scene. Scorpio glared at me as she walked by. I got the message, you make Cancer cry, I will make you die.
"What do you want?" Cancer impatiently asked, her foot rapidly tapping the dirt path.
"I'm sorry Cancer," I said, meaning it. "I didn't mean to hurt your feelings and I'm really really sorry. Is there anything I can do?" Cancer's blue eyes narrowed and it looked like she was looking into my soul. Her hostile expression soften a bit.
"I believe you mean that," she said. "But before I can forgive you..." Cancer went into a full out rage sesion and all of us apropriatly cowered in fear. Scorpio looked mildly impressed while the rest of us were either scared or in awe.
"You feeling better?" I asked warily. Cancer was panting slightly. She slapped me hard enough that I fell onto the path.
"There!" she said. "Now we're even." She helped me to my feet and gave me a hug. Blood rushed to my face and I hugged her back.
"Everybody should forgive as easily as Cance," Cap said, looking amused. I rolled my eyes.
"How much farther?" I asked.
"Hmm? Maybe around twenty more minutes," Gemini responded, clutching the yellow gem. We stoped at a huge ditch.
"It's a canyon," Virgo said, pointing out the obvious.
"Gee we didn't notice," Scoprio said rolling her eyes. "You sure that this is the right spot?" Gemini nodded here head and looked up.
"Look up guys," she said. The clouds started to shift and they made a staircase.
"This is safe, right?" Pisces asked, not wanting to die. "Cause' this would be a bad way to go..." I nodded my head in agreement. I'd rather die during a fight and not by falling through a staircase made of clouds. Cancer stepped on the stairs and fell through at the seventh stair.
"Canceeeeeeeeeeerrrrr!!" Scorpio screamed, watching her friend fall. A revived Cancer landed on an annoyed Scorpio. "Cance, I'm not a sofa."
"Sorry," Cancer said. She gingerly got off of Scorpio. Scorpio muttered some rude comments and eyed the stairs.
"So who's next?" Sagi asked. "Maybe the people who have all four of their lives?" Virgo nodded. She stepped onto the stairs and spread her wings, just in case she fell. The stairs gave way and she flew safely to us. She had a frown on her and she looked at me, you could almost see the gears in her head at work.
"Hmm, Aqua, step onto the stairs," she said. I sighed inwardly and walked up the stairs. They heald I made it all the way up.
"I'm still alive!" I exclaimed. Virgo gave me a tumbs up and instructed Gemini and Libra to do the same.
"Hey!" Gem said. "So, do you know what to do?" Libra looked around, his face slack with awe. I looked around and saw that we were indeed in a temple. The pillars made of golden clouds and it kinds reminded me of the Olympus from Herculese, Disney version. I have an annoying little sister that is Disney obsessed.
"Yup," I said. I took the gem from Gemini and looked into it. I saw myself, the me in the crystal winked at me, making me frown. The image zoomed out and I saw myself standing in the temple, Olympus thing. I followed myself, walking out of the temple thing. "Follow me."
