** Caution: some mild intimate scenes**

It was late in the night, it was uncomfortably quiet, complete dead silence. Farron couldn't sleep so she just laid in bed on her side and looked out her bedroom window, completely unaware of the hour. Her head was flooded with thoughts of her one night lover, Gil.
I know he was drunk.. I shouldn't have taken advantage of him like that but.. I love him.. I needed to feel his passion at least once...
Just then, her thoughts were interrupted once she heard footsteps heading down the hall, they grew louder by the second which built tension in her mind. She was home alone and no one was supposed to be back until the evening. Quickly jumping out of bed, she stumbled towards her bedroom door and swung it open, only to be greeted by Gilbert.
Her sudden outburst left them both stunned, Gil just looked at her wide eyed for a moment before breaking out into laughter. Farron stood up straight and adjusted her pajama shirt, "I-I thought you wouldn't be home till tomorrow." Farron told him quietly, embarrassed from the encounter that just happened a few seconds before.
He calmed himself down before speaking, "Yeah but I thought I'd come home early, I know I'm late but you shouldn't spend Valentine's day alone." He explained with a smile, he then grabbed her arm and lead her back into the bedroom. Farron blushed and sat on the bed, watching him sit beside her.
Oh geez... What is he thinking?! This is too much to handle! My heart can't take it!
Neither of them said anything for awhile, the night continued to be silent making things rather more uncomfortable for them both. "I wanted to tell you something." They both looked up and said simultaneously. Gil chuckled and placed his hand over hers, gently holding it.
"You should go first." He said sweetly.
"No.. you should." Farron smiled softly, slightly looking away. Not knowing what he was going to say made her nervous, but she just kept telling herself everything will be okay.
"Are you sure?" He asked, Farron nodded in response but he noticed a slight hesitation. "Alright." Gil sighed and rubbed the back of his neck. "About that night... I remember what happened..." Gilbert's face turned a light red as he looked away, "Why didn't you tell me?" He asked.
Farron looked up at him in complete shock, "You remember..?" She wasn't expecting an answer, it was just out of disbelief. "I-I... didn't tell you because I didn't know how'd you take it..." She admitted.
Gil kept quiet but smiled at her and pulled her close, holding her in his arms tightly. She rested her head on his chest as she hugged him before closing her eyes. He softly petted her head, "What did you want to tell me?" He asked then she lifted her head and looked up at him straight in the eyes.
"...I love you." She whispered then buried her face in his chest once again. He looked down at her as his face turned a bit darker red then before, "I love you too." He cooed then kissed her forehead.
She rubbed her eyes and yawned, Gil chuckled, "You're too cute." He laid down on the bed, pulling her next to him and wrapping his arm around her waist to pull her closer.
He slowly lifted her chin up and kissed her, gently caressing her cheek. Deepening the kiss, he slid his hand up her shirt before breaking the kiss and whispering in her ear, "Marry me?" He asked. Without hesitation, she nodded and kissed him, wrapping her arms around his neck.
As they continued their intimate actions, Farron couldn't have been happier, the night was magical. There was no mixed feelings, just love and passion for the first time ever she felt content.
But then, she woke up and rubbed her eyes before looking up and noticing Gilbert asleep with his arms wrapped around her waist. She just softly smiled and whispered, "Happy Valentine's."
