I've noticed that sometimes people ask why Molly doesn't get a job and I believe I have the answer to that question.

Molly prides herself in being a homemaker and stay at home mother, even though her children all go to a "boarding school" and don't need a hot meal cooked for them each morning and every night, she still takes pride in that. Taking care of seven rowdy children is certainly quite the task and a job within itself, even though admittedly sometimes Molly has a better head on her shoulders than Arthur and she would do great in a work environment considering how hard working she is. She doesn't want a job, she has a job already. As a a wife and mother, and Molly Prewett Weasley does not want to be a working woman. She does not want a job, she just wants to care for her family.
