Kumandra, an ancient nation once divided by fear and hatred, now a place where its people live in unity together with the dragons who roam the skies, the earth, and the ocean. But how exactly did this ancient civilization was brought back to life? Well, if it weren't for the help of a group of friends, who hailed from different clans and who sacrificed themselves to defeat the Druun, shapeless and merciless creatures that live on human hate and discord.
It is a bright and lively night at Heart as every clan of Kumandra and the dragons are celebrating both the return of Kumandra and the end of the Druun. Everyone sing and dance, everyone eat and talk and they mostly talk with Sisu, Raya, Tong, Namaari, Boun, Little Noi (and her mother) as this group of friends were the ones who ended the Druun's reign of terror across the lands.
Everyone is having fun at the party, except for Pengu. Pengu is just at an almost forested area, where no one will see him while he watches his siblings and friends converse with the humans. Pengu wasn't a loner, no, actually, he just wanted to have some time on his own as being a statue for years felt weird and frightening.
He looks at the lively scenery one last time, till he walks deeper into the forest and as he goes deeper, he hears a little boy's voice, saying, "Look, a shooting star."
Pengu and everyone else looks up at the night sky as they all gasp in amazement.
Back in the party, one of the guests told everyone that 'the shooting star is a sign as a thank you from the universe' and everyone agreed to that, except for Pengu. When he first saw that shooting star, he did not gasp in amazement like the others had done, he simply watches it as what he noticed that the shooting star seems slow and unusually big. Pengu then zoom towards a little hill where he continues to watch the shooting star and sees that the star is falling from the sky. It whizzes across the sky and went past Heart's castle and landed at a forest, where Pengu could actually hear a 'boom!' sound, which no one did not hear as they were too busy partying.
Pengu flies over to the place where this 'shooting star' had landed. He sees a large burnt crater with burning trees and shrubbery surrounding it, which made Pengu curious and at the center of the crater, he expects a shiny rock, but instead... A dragon? How can that be so? He thought. He then carefully move towards the dragon, without burning his feet, to take a good look at them. Their body resembles of that of dragons like Pengu, yet their fur and mane is gray and covered with cuts and blood. A pair of black horns protrudes from their head and the black color of their horns is connected with a pair of large black patterns on the dragon's face, which looks like the patterns have covered the dragon's eyes. And the last notable feature that this dragon has is that they wear a chestplate armor that bears an insignia of a silhouette of a dark and serpentine creature.
Pengu proceeds to move his head next to the dragon's chest as he hears a heartbeat.
"They're alive!" He said.
Pengu looks left and right, checking for anything unusual, until he looks down to the unconscious dragon once more and said. "Okay, don't move, I'll send help."
The unconscious dragon did not reply, which is what you'll expect from a unconscious dragon, as they are being carried in Pengu's arms.
In Pengu's perspective, he is in front of the doors of Heart's castle as he hears the party going on inside. The guards guarding the entrance notices him and did not hesitate to open the doors for him and behind the door there are hundreds of people facing their backs as they are being busy having a conversation with the people around them. Pengu proceeds to walk towards the crowd and his footsteps are heard to those near him as they move out of the way and stare at the dragons in his arms.
"Chief Benja!" He cried out, while he moves amongst the crowd. "Sisu? siblings? Anyone? I need help!"
Pengu's cries for help had brought everyone's attention as another dragon heard his call and help by came seeking for the people Pengu's looking for. Soon, the chiefs, Raya and her friends are now being guided by the dragon helping Pengu.
"Pengu, you called?" Sisu shouted as she and the others stop as they all saw the unconscious dragon in her older brother's arms. "What happened to them?" She then asked.
"I don't know what happened, but please, they're hurt and bleeding."
Chief Benju quickly thought of something.
"Quick, we must go to one of the guest rooms." Benju replied as Pengu and the rest follows him.
But, before Pengu follows the chief of Heart, he turn to the dragon who brought his allies and said. "Please, go get one of the healers."
"Of course, right away."
Soon, everyone, including every dragon, are in one of the guests room, all looking down at the wounded armored dragon laying on a bed, while asking Pengu how he found them and the response he gave them is unnatural as most of them couldn't believe what they'd just heard from Pengu.
"Everybody please stand aside so I can see what I'm working with." A white dragon spoke in a clam voice. As she has a chance to get a good look at the unconscious dragon, she inspects his wounds and tries to get rid of the chestplate from his body.
"My, how can a dragon fit in that?" Chief Tong asked as the other chiefs responded with a shrug.
"Do you need any help?" Raya asked.
"Yes indeed, find anything that could open this piece of armor up."
Raya starts finding for something on the dragon's armor as Sisu, who is at the other side of the bed, spotted something at the metal palm on one of the dragon's small gauntlets.
"What's this?" She said as she a sees a circle on the gauntlet's palm, which was flashing a white, yet dim light, that is blinking on and off. Curious, Sisu touches the blinking circle as a strange sound came after, which startled her and the rest inside the room as she quickly lets go of the gauntlet.
"Sisu, what did you do?" Raya said, thinking that Sisu did something that she wasn't supposed to do.
Before Sisu answer, the dragon's gauntlets and chestplate armor begins to shift and move before everyone's eyes as the gauntlets transforms itself into a bigger version of its self to fit the size of the dragon's claws, while their chestplate shifts and opens itself to reveal the dragon's upper torso and after that, everything stops.
"Wow, never seen that before in my life." Says the white dragon, amazed at what she saw. "Anyways, at least it the chestplate is now open."
The white dragon begins by gently laying her claws on the unconscious dragon's chest as waves of white light moves from her hands and onto the dragon's chest as their wounds started to heal. After that, the white dragon moves her claws away from the now healed dragon.
"Since he's already healed, I'd suggest that we depart from this room." Says the white dragon as everyone went out of the room, except... "Except for Pengu." This caught the water dragon's attention as he was about to head out.
"You will be in charge of watching over him till they wake up."
"I will, and thank you." Pengu said.
"It's a pleasure."
A few moments past as everyone, after the party, either went back home or sleeping within the guests room provided for them by Chief Benju, but not all did went to sleep as Pengu is taking care of the mysterious dragon and wiping the blood away from their gray fur with a damp cloth. Next, Pengu slowly and gently removes the dragon's armor to not wake them as Pengu notice something from the dragon's back. He carefully rolls over the dragon a little bit until Pengu could see what the dragon is hiding behind their back as he carefully grabs it and put the unconscious dragon back to their original sleeping form on the bed. Pengu inspects the long object he's holding right now and as he looks at it closely, it is a sword with a hilt covering it, but it look strange because of its unique craftmanship and engraved patterns and... Language?
Pengu was about to set the dragon's weapon and armor on a nearby cupboard table, but he was interrupted by the sound... From behind him.
