A Love Life In A Dangerous World ( A The Last Of Us 2 Fanfiction )

Saving but hurt

   May is a WLF or a Wolf. A group of many people like her, hunting and killing Scars. Then one day she was put on patrol, when a group of eight Scars found her.

   ( May's POV )

   " String her up," One of the female Scars said as one of the other pulled out a rope from his backpack.

"No...no--," I started to before the rope was put around my neck. Then it was pulled tight and I felt the air leave my body.

" They are nested with sin," The same woman says to me as someone grabes my legs.

" Let me go," I said wheezing out a breath, as I tried to shake the person off from behind.

   ( Higg's POV )

    I was with my fellow Seraphite members when, when one of them spots a Wolf. They go after her and tackles the small girl, pinning her to the ground. She was innocent, but she was also a wolf.

" String her up," The older woman says and Thomas, a fellow Seraphite, gets a rope out from his bag.

" They are nested with sin," One of the woman said as the rope was tied to a tree.

" Let me go," The young girl manages to wheeze out as she tries to shake off the Seraphite behind her.

    I get my bow ready to fire when I hear the girl screams in pain as the old Seraphite digs the knife in to her side. That when I raise my bow and I aim it at the Seraphite behind the girl and he drops died on the ground.        

" Traitor!" The older woman yelled at me.

" No," I simply said and I killed her.

    Then I went to the girl. The wolf was struggling to breath, with that her face was turning bright red.  I take out my pocket knife and I begin cutting the rope. When the rope is cut, she falls to ground, blood pouring onto the dirt. Then I start cutting the rope around her wrists. When the rope gives way her hand goes to her stab wound and she cries in pain.

   ( May's POV )

  I was cut down from the tree, after that I feel myself starting to feel the pain from my side where I was stabbed. Then the rope that was around my wrists was cut away. Once that happens, my hand goes straight to my side.

   Then the man who freed me comes to my side and pushes me on my back, feeling the blood from my wound seep past my hand.

" Where do you want me to take you?" The man asks me as I open my eyes a little.

" The Aquarium," I answer feeling myself start to pass out.

" Hey wake up," The man says patting my face. I open my eyes and I see him.

" Okay, I know where that is, but I'm going to have to carry you there," He says to me.

" What's your name?" I asked him.

" Higgs. What's yours?" Higgs asks me. I take a short, sharp breath and I lip my lips.

" May," I said to Higgs and picks me up bridel style.

" Nice to meet you," Higgs says as he starts walking tords the aquarium.

" Nice to meet you too," I say before I pass out of blood loss.

    I walk up and Higgs is still walking, this time we are out of the forest and near the aquarium, seeing it from where we were.

" Who will answer the door when I knock on it?" Higgs asks me as I bury my head into his chest.

" Abby or Owen, my brother and sister, maybe Mel," I answered feeling pain in my side again.

" What should I tell them?" Higgs asks me as I look up at him.

" Tell them that you saved my life from the Scars," I answered him.

" Ok," Higgs said to me as well came up to the aquarium.

   Higgs knocks on the door and calls out.

" Owen!" Higgs yells out. There was no answer. So he tries again.

" Owen! I'm here with May, your sister. She's hurt. She needs your help!" Higgs yells out.

   Then the door opens and we see Abby, Owen and Nelson standing there guns in hand.

" Hey guys," I say as my breathing becomes shallow.
