"The square root of blah blah blah." I drowned out the rest of Mr.Peters lecture on something I really didn't care about. I had a agonizing head ache and didn't want to be here. I tapped my pencil against my desk. I turned my head to see Terra looking at me pointing at the pager that was attached to her waist. Her facial expressions were full of worriesome. I looked down at mine and saw it beeping red it was a code red. I quickly looked up as I heard my name called.
"Delma! The answer please." Mr.Peters said. "Um," I began but then the bell rang. "Sorry." I said grabbing my books and binder and flying out the door. I flew down the hallway to my locker. "Delma! Wait up!" I heard Terra yell. I quickly turned and looked at her. "What do you think it could be?" I asked in a hushed tone. She shrugged her shoulders. I grabbed my social studies textbook and headed in the opposite direction of my last class.
"Terra your obviously not taking this as seriously as I am. This is a big deal." I said walking faster. "Delma, I know it is, just calm down." She said trying to catch up. I sighed. "Hey guys, did you get the code red on your pagers too?" Our friend Moon said. "Yes, after school we'll go." I said. "Alright one more hour." Terra said. We all parted our separate ways. I walked in the classroom and sat down and I opened my notebook and began to do my Do Now. As I was writing I looked to the left as a girl named Paige looked at me. She got up and sat in the empty desk next to me. I put down my pencil and looked at her, the bell rang and the teacher sat down at the desk and began to read emails. "I know your secret." She said. "What secret?" I asked. "That you were born on the eclipse, so was Terra VanDeaton and Moon Edwards." She said quietly. "How do you know." I asked. "That doesn't matter. The code red is a emergency, these are directions take them and go right after school good luck." She said sliding me a folder piece of paper. She smiled and went back to writing. I tucked the paper in my pocket and finished my writing.
The bell rang and I nearly ran out the door. I quickly opened my locker and got my stuff and ran to Moon and Terra. "Follow me, don't ask questions." I said. We ran out the door to the cave which is what the map said to do. As we walked in our footsteps echoed off the walls and bounced back. I could hear voices in the back of the cave. We slowly made our way to the back as the voices changed into weird sounds. I looked at the portal that was on the wall and back at the diagram Paige seems to have drawn. It says to jump. I held my breath and jumped and landed in this new land. Moon and Terra came shortly after. I saw a tree house in the distance and ran toward it, the diagram said to go in it. We walked towards it and stopped at the base of the tree house. I climbed it only to see a girl who was our age (17) sitting at the table with a apple, she had long black hair with lime green tips. She had pale skin and dark brown eyes. I climbed up and the rest followed me. A little elf gasped and ran toward us. She pulled my head down and whispered in my ear. "Did Paige send you here?" She asked. "Yes." I said back. She let my head go and walked to Zell. "So Zell these are three more people who were born on the eclipse. They have been sent to live with you." The elf said. Zell nodded and went back to eating her Apple and looking out the window. "WAIT WHAT! IM NOT ALONE!" Zell said excited. She brought us to three empty room and said there ours we could do what we want with them! We nodded and went in.
