Two days later: I woke up at 11 am and walked out. Zell, Cynthia, Moon, and Terra were talking at the table. I sat down and grabbed an apple. "Cynthia was saying how she knows Paige." Terra said. I nodded and took a bite out of my apple. "So what about school." I said. Zell laughed bitterley and shook her head. "What about it?" She asked. I looked at her. "Education hater much?" I said quietly. "I don't do education." She said. I rolled my eyes and turned to Cynthia. "You'll no longer be able to attend school, it's impossible. You'd have to go keep going through the portal until finally it shut." She said taking a bite out of a banana. I nodded. "That's one reason I love it here. Hakuna Matata." She said. I chuckled and got up. There was a quiet knock at the door. I went to open it but Zell beat me to the door. Someone's a eager beaver. She opened it to a boy about our age. He pulled her in for a hug. I cleared my throat to get there attention. "Oh right." She said, slowly pulling away. "Oh good he's here." Cynthia said walking over. "This is Skye. Skye, this is Delma, Moon, and Terra also born on the eclipse like you and Zell." She said pointing to the three of us. I gave a small wave and smiled. He smiled back. Terra pulled me to the couch. "What's up?" I asked. "What do you think of Zell?" She asked. "Zell? She's great super nice, her and I have become really close lately." I said smiling. "How? You've known her for like two days." Terra replied. "Remember when we first met? In two hours we were acting like we've known each other for our whole life." I answered playing with my hair. "Get real Del, that was pre-school we were 4. We didn't have opinions or judgements then. We're 17 now we have to start figuring out how people work. Our vision is becoming clearer as we get older I don't want you to fall in a trap and get caught we've known these people for two days." She said. "Yeah, but I feel like I've known Zell my whole life, like she's apart of me." I said convinced. "We can't take any chances Delma." She said. "Just give her a chance Terra, that's all we can really do. Maybe if you actually sat down and talked to her you'd get to know her. You seem to be doing that a lot now." I said. "Doing what?" She asked. "Judging people before you even talk to them." I said getting up and walking to sit down by Moon. "What do you think of Zell?" I asked looking in his eyes. "She's great feels like a sister." He said. I smiled glad to know that one of my friends likes her.
It was around 2am when I went to get a glass of water when I heard men talking. I looked out the window to see men hunched over a fire. I ran to my room to grab a jacket. I slipped on my uggs and climbed down the tree. I ran behind a bush and ran into someone. I could see a faint silhouette of a girl particularly my size my age. I saw blonde hair and blue eyes. "Paige?" I asked. "Hi Delma." She said. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "I live here." She said. My eyes went wide. Suddenly someone mentioned Zells name. "We won't kill her gentle men. We'll catch her." One said bitterly. I couldn't help myself, "Shes not a animal." I yelled. "Who's back there." Someone yelled. "Bye Paige!" I said running back to then tree and climbing up it. I ran back to my room. I heard a faint hello. At my doorway. "Cynthia?" I asked. "What did those men say?" She asked. "That they weren't going to kill her but catch her." I said. "Thanks." She said waking out. I nodded and layed back down. I quickly fell asleep. I woke up confused who those people were at what was there relation with Zell. I cautiously stood up and walked out the door. I peeked around the corner to see everyone minding there own business and doing what they usually do in the morning. I didn't know why I was so tense. I shrugged it off and went to grab some milk when Zell out of no where mentioned "I heard someone waking in the living room around 2am last night. Any ideas who it was." Zell said. I looked at Cynthia I turned around and quickly said "Nope no idea, what a nice day it is out, lovely weather were having not a single cloud wow, that's rare." "Okay." Zell said slowly sitting back down.
