It was a gray and cloudy afternoon when Nerissa and Lucius Malfoy finely arrived at their Manor. " I understand his heart brake at the death of his wife but to abandon his new daughter. Lucius, Draco hasn't even looked at her or given her a name." Nerissa exclaimed while opening the door for Lucius who was holding his sleeping granddaughter. " I know my love but try to talk softly the dear heart is sleeping." Lucius said while looking down at small baby. "We'll give him a few days then ask him what he wants to do." Nerissa peaked down at the sweet baby while saying." What do we call the poor heart until then?" "That is entirely beside the point, we first must gather everything we will need to care for a new born and then take care of Draco and Scorpio." Lucius stated handing the baby to Nerissa and looking for paper to start a list. "I already have everything dear." "what-" "well I new that the baby would be staying here sometime, so I had one of the house elves get somethings" "Of course you did. Now what can I do to make life as easy as possible?" "Will you put the baby to bed?" Lucius took his granddaughter in his arms and walked up the stairs.
Five Days Later
Nerissa was worried about her son and grandson while they wear traveling to Draco's Manor for Astoria's funeral. She had only received one owl sense her daughter-in-laws death telling her when the funeral was. Lucius on the other hand was looking forward to hearing what his granddaughter would be named. As he was growing tiered of referring to her as the baby or an odd assortment of pet names that took Nerissa three days to decide what would be most fitting the dear heart.

At Draco's Manor
The funeral was over and the guests gone leaving Draco alone to face his parents and the serpent that caused his wife's death. Scorpio had gone to stay with Astoria's parents for the week allowing for him to sort through how he would raise the boy on his own. Draco didn't want anything to do with this new child he saw his parents carrying around. For all he cared they could keep it, but considering what a fantastic job Lucius did with his own son he new she would probably end up in some muggle orphanage. "Draco darling would you like to hold your daughter?" Nerissa asked while slowly rocking the baby in her arms. "I don't have a daughter. You can keep that wretched creature." Draco spat, as a look of horror speared across his mothers face. Gripping the back of his neck Lucius tried to reason with his son. "Draco, it isn't her fault we knew Astoria wasn't well... she is just a baby, your baby." "I don't care that ophidian is not mine. She can go and rot in the muggle world for all I care." And with that being said Draco stormed away to the house leaving his parents standing in the courtyard with his nameless daughter.
