Stiles has been quiet since she left. Barely speaking not a sarcastic remark in sight. His dad is worried his best friend is worried. He knows he messed up but he isn't sure how to fix it. He's left text after text, call after call but none of them have gone through. Is she hurt ? Dead ? Being tortured ? The bad thoughts run rampant in his head. School hasn't been the same without her here. Her voice that calms him down. Her smile that makes his heart race. The way she talked about their future together and he messed it all up. He pulls out her key from under her door mat and unlocks the door going inside. Like he has the past week he goes to her room and looks around seeing bits of her personality everywhere. He glances over the photos of them for what seems the millionth time. "God I'm such an idiot." he tells himself before his phone rings. Seeing his dad calling he answers while his dad delivers news that has him sitting down on her bed. "Stiles, I don't know what better way to say this but they found her car abandoned at Laguna Beach. They impounded her car while the police investigate what may have happened. So far they have no witnesses. I'm sorry Stiles." his dad says while Stiles just hangs up before looking up at the picture of them sharing a kiss on valentines day. "Laguna Beach ?" Stiles whispers to himself before standing up suddenly rummaging through her things before he pulls out a photo album. "I've always wanted to go back to Laguna Beach. My family had our annual summer vacation there I always wanted to go back there."

Grabbing his car keys he runs out it his car after locking her front door. "The ocean is vast and deep she could've gone anywhere." Stiles says out loud before his phone rings. "Selene !" He answers quickly while her aunt yells at him from the other line. "What we're you thinking  ?! If not at all boy ! Her soul is breaking the one thing you don't want to do is break a sirens soul. Sooner or later we're going to be getting news of a cannibal killing men !" Her aunt screams while Stiles stops at a red light. "You're speaking as of this happened before." Stiles says while Selene sighs from the other end of the line. "That's because it has. The last case of this the siren ended up dead. You have to find her before it's too late and she becomes the next one." Selene says before she speaks again. "She doesn't know this is happening to her. She can be anywhere in the world by now. Where was she spotted last ?"

"They found her car abandoned in Laguna Beach."

"Laguna Beach ? She went there ?" Selene questions while pulling out a map. "If she went anywhere, anywhere at all its going to be Hawai'i." "If you're going to fix this Stiles and for your sake I hope you do." "You need to be on a flight to Hawai'i right now." Selene replies before hanging up. Stiles drives back to his house before quickly running in and packing a bag. His dad comes in looking at him while crossing his arms. "I'm leaving I know where Victoria is and I need to go after her." Stiles replies while his father smiles. "You're going to work this out huh ?" his dad asks while Stiles stops before glancing over at his dad. "I have to try." 

Victoria nervously pulls into the driveway of the house that's already full with party goers. "WOW this party puts Lydia's to shame." Victoria mumbles before parking and getting out with her case of alcohol. Adjusting her shorts and tank top she heads to the door. Looking around she just walks in with a shrug keeping her head held high in search of the group of people who helped her. Seeing Amanda first who spots her as well yells in excitement running up to Victoria. "HEY !" Amanda shouts causing Victoria to clench her eyes shut and for Amanda to apologize quickly. "I'm sorry if I'm loud I'm just so excited you came !" Amanda says causing Victoria to smile softly at her. "C'mon let's get this party started !" Victoria shouts getting shouts of "hell yeahs !" in return. The night get's more intense from there. Body shots, Beer pong, any drinking game ever invented getting played. Victoria feels fine thanks to her enhanced metabolism. But everyone else is drunk off their asses. Jonas and James sing off the top of their lungs standing on a table and others join in. Amanda has stripped to her bathing suit. Max and Victoria stand off to the side talking before Max suddenly grabs her hand pulling her out back walking towards the beach. "It was getting loud and  I choose you to hangout with." "You're also the soberest one out here out of all of us, which is weird you drank the most." Max tells her still holding her hand as they begin to walk down the beach the full moon on display. Thank god she learned to control herself or it would've been weird explaining that the next morning. "Yeah I have a high tolerance." She replied looking out to the ocean. "So I was wondering if you wanted to maybe, I don't know go out on a date with me ? I know its sudden and you'll probably say no but I'm hoping you will say yes..." Max tells her quickly reminding her of Stiles causing her to smile before it falls. "I'm flattered but I just recently got out of a relationship two days ago." "I'm not ready to get back out there yet." Victoria tell him smiling at him while he rubs the back of his head nodding before looking down. "I understand, yeah it's okay but if you change your mind." Max says laughing looking at her while she laughs too looking down the beach. 

"Why don't you take a bite, I'm hungry you won't give in and let us eat. He looks delicious and to hear his screams as we tear into his flesh." "It would be marvelous." 

 Hearing the voice in her head she stops walking briefly before continuing again. "Shut up." she tells her siren who begins to laugh in her head. "There's no one around, you can drag him into the ocean and be done with it. When he washes ashore they would think it's another sad case of  a shark attack."  "The answer is still no." she replies before looking over to Max who is already looking at her. "How about we head back ?" he asks while she shakes her head yes. "Yeah let's because I don't know what destruction they may have caused in our absence." heading back they see blue lights and Max is wrapping his arm around her pulling her behind some bushes. "Do you have your keys on you ?" Max asked while she nods. "Yeah I'm parked on the road." she replies before grabbing his hand pulling walking them past the cops. "hey stop right there !" "We're you apart of this party ?" The police officer questions and Victoria is turning towards the cop with a smile on her face. "Oh no we were just walking on the beach after dinner we're heading home now we just live five blocks down and we wanted to walk to the cove. Enjoy the moonlight." Victoria says continuing to walk away while the officer tells them to have a good night. "Go, go." Victoria says quickly while they get in her dads Bronco. "I can drop you off back at your house." Victoria says looking in the side mirror before Max's phone begins to ring. "Max where are you we got out before the cops got us." Amber shouts from the other line and I smile before looking over to him while he glances at me smiling. "Yeah Victoria and I got out as well. We will come pick you up."  Max says while Victoria nods before smiling seeing the group pulling over to them. "Get in losers we're going shopping." She tells them while they laugh getting in the car before Victoria pulls off. "I grabbed your car keys Max." Amanda says handing max his keys. "Luckily I parked my truck in Benji's driveway before we went inside." Max says before telling Victoria where to go. After twenty minutes of driving Max tells her to pull into his driveway and the rest of the group tells her bye before they jump out heading inside. Max and Victoria are the only ones left and Victoria grabs a pen and some paper before writing down her number. "Here, I don't have my phone but just have my number." Victoria says writing it down quickly before handing it over to him. "thank you." he says smiling at her before reaching over kissing her cheek before telling her goodnight and heading inside his house. Smiling she pulls out and heads back tp her dads. Smiling to herself she grabs her things before getting out and heading inside. Slipping her sandals off she turns to let Peter know she's back but stops seeing someone she least expected to see. 

"Stiles ?" 

"Uh yeah, Hey." he replies while Victoria just looks at him and he her. Both hearts racing in sync they just stare at each other. Victoria more confused than ever. While the boy who broke her heart is here to try a mend the pieces of her heart and his back together again.
