3rd person POV:
Fire
Hell fire
All because of a liar
The fair maiden shall now suffer
Maiden's POV:
How could all of this have happened?
All I just wanted was to live peacefully and have a family..... But now this.
Have the memories mean nothing?
Have my deeds been wicked?
Everything I did, has it all been a sin?
3rd Person POV:
As the "sinner" cries to the skies as they burn, many shouts of "prayers" have been lifted to the Lord. Prayers that all shout:
"Burn the witch!"
"Burn the sinner!"
"Make our town pure again! Our Father and Savior we beg of you!"
All of this lead by the witch huntress with the sinner's lover (Could one even call them that with this situation?), the prince. The witch huntress continuously encouraging for more prayers as they burn the witch while the prince silently cries to himself feeling betrayal and sorrow as he sees that his lover is a "witch". Though, is that really the case of his tears?
As one would ask, how would one even find out and get to accuse of as a witch? No one knows the answer and no one ever will.
"Repent!"
"Repent!"
The prayers and chants multiply, the flames rise higher, the skies darken. The maiden silently prays to the Lord for a miracle. (Can actual true miracles exist in a situation like this)
"Repent! For this is no sinner!"
"Repent! For such evil has not been placed in her heart!"
Twin children appeared and started chanting these exact words. Though, their chants are no match for the crowd is louder and wouldn't even listen. Even knowing this, the children never stopped their chants.
The prince thought to himself:
"Why was I gullible to fall for such sinner in the first place?"
Being gullible sure has its downfall fair prince, but if only you know your true reason on what you're gullible nature has lead you, your such sad fate wouldn't have been sealed.
The fair maiden looks up to the sky, tears flowing non-stop down her cheeks. Silent prayer for miracle after prayer, she prays to the Father. Of course nothing (from what she can see) hasn't happened. With this, the maiden's prayer has changed.
"If my fate is sealed like this, please, I beg of you Lord to not harm the children"
The sinner shouts this prayer out loud, even seeming that this prayer seems louder than of the crowds.
Many prayers, more wood to light up the flames, the bible read allowed to aid these prayers, nothing happens to the fair maiden. Not even her hair has been singed by these flames and this thought lead to a bit of confusion to the crowd while they were cheering. This affected the volume of the crowd's chant and now the twin children shout and scream louder:
"REPENT! FOR THIS IS NO SINNER!"
"REPENT! FOR NO SUCH EVIL HAS BEEN PLACED IN HER HEART!"
