I was on my way to a party that one of Violet's (my gf) old friends were hosting. It was a thanksgiving day party and all of my friends were coming. Violet went there early because she wanted to help set up the party. I shut my car door and pressed a button on my car keys to lock it. I was about 15 minutes early, but it didn't matter, right? I walked up to the open door and went through it.
"Hello Vi!" I said cheerfully
"How's it goi-" At the sight of what was happening i paused and dropped the solo cups i was carrying. My cheerful attitude instantly vanished. Vi was kissing another guy. She quickly pulled away and said.
"Ben! Its not what it lookes like!"
"What do you mean its not what it lookes like!" I exclamed. My vision blurred as my eyes filled with tears.
"Your making out with another GUY! What do you think i'm supposed to think!"
"Ben..."
"Don't you 'Ben' me!"
I turned around with tears dripping down my face.
"Ben! Wait!"
But i didn't. I started to run out the door with an arm covering my face to hide my teary eyes, leaving the pile of solo cups on the ground behind me.
Oh and umm I forgot to mention that the age gap between them is the same, and they are in their 20's.
