chapter 13

Johnnie P.O.V

Its been three weeks since Luz woke up and today will be her first day of school since the party night and I'm kinda nervous for her. Today I'm giving angela, Angellina and luz a ride to school. I go to Luz's house first cause she lives the closest to me.

I get to the front of her house and see her peek out her window and smile at me. A few seconds later she walks out her door and she has  a cast on her foot and crutches and bandages all over her body. She looks pretty bad.

she stops at the front of her door and looks down at the stair case with three stairs and laughs. She looks at me and i quickly get out of my car to help her. "Can i get a hand here?" She says

"yeah sure" she puts her arm around me and hops one stair at a time. "Woah!" She loses her grip on me and trips. I gasp. But she looks up at me and shes laughing hysterically. "Are you ok?!" I say while helping her up.

"Yeah that was fun!" She laughs The whole way and when I've picked them all up she tells them what happened. We get to school and all walk in together.

Everyone in the hall is staring at us especially Luz. I scan the room and Natalia See's us and starts walking towards us but she doesn't look mad she looks guilty.

She pushes through the people in the hall that are still staring at us and is in front of us. She has her head down and lifts it slowly so we can see her face.

"Luz im so sorry this is my fault" she puts her hand on her shoulder but i slap it off quick. "DON'T touch her!" I yell.

"I'm sorr--NO! I interrupt her. "Yes this is your f*cken fault! You can't touch her!  I soften my voice. "You almost killed her".

I feel tears swelling up in my eyes and my vision in blurred by them. " look what you did to her! She almost died!" She covers her mouth and backs away. Her face looks horrified. 

Tears are running down my face now. "Get the h*ll out of here now You b*tch!" Then she turns around and runs the other way of the hall. I turn to look at Angela, Luz and Angellina. They are in tears. I look at Luz and her lips are trembling. "Thanks Johnnie" she says.

Luz's P.O.V

Right now I was horrified by Natalia but i tried not to show it. And when she touched me i just wanted to kill her! She couldn't touch me ever again. But thanks to Johnnie he took care of that.

I couldn't thank him enough for what he did.

"Luz!" I blink quickly and look up at the teacher. "Whats the answer?" She says. "Oh um i dont know i-i was just feeling kind of dizzy" i lie. I wasn't actually feeling dizzy. Just wasn't paying attention. Teachers are so gullible. "Oh well ok" she says and walks away.

Angela's P.O.V

School ended about ten minutes ago and I'm waiting outside the shool for Luz, Angellina and johnnie. I really dont think she should be walking in right now that she has crutches but she insists on it. I think her parents even told her not to but shes a bad a$$ and doesn't care what her parents say.

"Hey" i feel arms wrapping around me from behind and react quick. "Hey!" I say. Its Johnnie. He kisses me on the cheek quick. And stands beside me. "sorry i scared you" he laughs. "Yeah Its fine" i say. I see luz and Angellina walk out of the school together and Angellina is helping her down the stairs. "Luz you probably shouldn't walk today. Its gonna hard for you" "eh whatever" she says walking ahead.

Luz P.O.V

We are half way home and my arms really hurt but whatever thats what i get for choosing to walk. Angela and johnnie are in front of me on the sidewalk. "Aww how cute holding hands and all" they all look at me and laugh.

"Ahhh dont you just love love?" I say looking up at the sky and laughing. "The first time you fall in love, it changes you forever and no matter how hard you try, that feeling just never goes away" "wow johnnie. You ruined that quote just by saying it". I say " it only works on Nicholas sparks. They all laugh.

Gosh this walk is boring. I take my tablet put of my backpack and start playing "only" so loud. "I never f*cked Wayne, i never f*cked Drake all my life man f*ck sake!" I yell so loud and right away they all join in.

Angellina's P.O.V

I'm singing at the top of my lungs but all of a sudden i hear the music stop and everyone stops to what they see...
