Malias pov

Derek had picked us up but y/n hasn't said a thing I was worried she always so bright and happy. I don't know what to do I hate seeing her like this. I picked up my phone and texted Scott.

M: hey Scott your mum has just pushed y/n away and now she doesn't want to talk to anyone.

S: I know my mum has already told me.

M: oh ok well I thought you should know

I put down the phone and saw Derek looking at y/n through the mirror. She was sat looking out the window with her knees to her chest. I wanted to help but I saw that Derek gave me a looking telling me just to leave her alone.

I sighed and sat back in my chair. I kept looking at y/n making sure she's ok. Once we arrived y/n got out the car and ran inside. "Malia don't go after her" Derek said and I looked at him confused.

"Why Derek she upset why can't I help her" I asked.

"I know you want to help but I also know that she doesn't want any comfort I know you like her Malia" Derek said and I tried to hide my face.

"No I don't I have no idea what you are on about" I said and Derek laughed.

"Malia you should know that you can't lie to a werewolf" Derek said and I let out a sigh.

"Fine I might of like her the minute I saw her I felt a drow to her like we belong together" I said and Derek smiled.

"Looks like you found your mate" derek said and I looked at him shocked.

"My what" I asked looking at Derek confused.

"Y/n is your mate, I know I found mine once but he died I have seen you to became friends straight away you belong together" Derek said and I smiled.

"How should I tell her" I asked and Derek laughed.

"Take her out and tell her but don't tell her straight away, tell her when you feel the time is right" Derek said and I nodded.

"Ok I will but what should we do now I know you care for her too" I said and Derek smiled.

"Yeah she's like my little sister we were friend when we was little we played and my mum turned her then the fire happened y/n was devastated so she left like me and Laura" derek said and I put a hand on his shoulder.

We got out the car then Ruby rushed out and grabbed me by my neck pinning me to the car "what did you do to y/n" she shouted and I pushed her off me. I growled showing my blue eyes and fangs.

"Nothing" I said and she growled turning into her wolf form. I sighed then turned into my coyote form and Derek ran inside.

"What did you do to her" she said and I growled.

"Nothing, I love her" I said and she looked at me shocked.

"No you don't I love her" she shouted lunging for me she pushed me into a large stone. I growled true to her up but I was pinned by the neck. As she was about to bring her claws down there was a loud roar and stood there was y/n and Derek stood behind her.

"Ruby get of her" y/n shouted ruby put her head down and backed off. Y/n ran over I thought she would go to ruby but instead she came over to me. "Malia are you ok, I'm so sorry" she said and put my head in lap.

"Y/n I'm sorry" ruby said trying to walk over but y/n glared at her.

"Go away ruby you have already done enough" she said then picked me up and walked I to the loft and put me down on her bed. "I'm so sorry Malia I don't know what got over ruby" she said and I smiled and put my hand on her cheek.

"I'm ok don't worry I heal fast remember" I said and y/n smiled.

"Right I forgot sorry" she said and I laughed.

"It's ok" I said and y/n sighed. She walked over to she looked out the window and I sighed. I walked over to her and put my hand around her wait. She looked at me and smiled.

I pulled her into a hug and she hugged back. "It's ok y/n I'm here and I'm not letting go" i said

"Thanks Malia" she said and we stayed like this for the rest of the night until we both fell asleep.
