Agatha began getting her stuff packed from the cottage to come back to the coven village. She didn't want to go back, everyone probably hated her and wouldn't let her do anything without being supervised. Agatha let out a sigh. "I can't believe I'm going back." She said, looking at the little baby, "I hope they treat you fairly." Once Agatha had all her belongings packed into a bag she grabbed y/n and teleported to her old house in the coven. "Here we are my love." Agatha said with a smile on her face, "This is your home." The baby cooed at her. Agatha laid down on her bed, cuddling her little baby, and they both fell asleep.
Agatha was startled awake in the middle of the night by a nightmare. She panicked and made sure her baby was by her side. Once she saw that y/n was still there and safe, she began to calm herself and caught her breath. "That was horrible," Agatha thought to herself, "I'll never let them hurt you my love, I promise." Agatha said tearing up. She placed a soft kiss on y/n's cheek and tried to fall back asleep.

"I see you've settled in quite quickly."
"Was I not supposed to? This is my home after all."
"How is the baby?"
"Wow, you actually care? She's fine, and she's all mine so don't get any ideas."
"Did I say I was going to do anything?"
"No, but I know your tricks mother. I had a dream that involved you last night, if that dream becomes reality it will not end well for you."

six years later:
"Mommy!"
"Hi my love!" Agatha said smiling, picking y/n up and giving her a kiss on the forehead.
"Mommy guess what!"
"What is it sweetheart?"
"Look!" y/n said as she took her hand out of the pocket of her small dress.
"What?" Agatha questioned, looking down at the young girls hand.
A second later a small, purple ball of magic appeared above y/n's hand. Y/n smiled big before the ball disappeared, then looked up at her mother.
Agatha's jaw had dropped. "H-How did you learn to do that baby?" Agatha asked with a wobbly voice.
"It just happened, I was thinking about how you did it, and then it happened! And it's purple! Purple is my favorite color! Isn't it cool mommy?" Y/n had the biggest smile on her face as she looked up to scan her mother's face, "You look scared, not happy."
"It's amazing y/n," Agatha softened her expression, "Who else have you shown?"
"Just you, I found out I could do it and ran over to tell you!"
Agatha looked relieved, "Let's keep it that way, ok honey?"
"Ok mommy."

A few weeks later y/n's power had grown, by a lot. Agatha helped her a lot with trying to control it, but she didn't even know how to completely control her own powers so she wasn't too much help.
"Time for dinner darling!" Agatha yelled upstairs. "Coming!" y/n ran down the stairs and into the kitchen. "Woah, hold your horses y/n, the food isn't going to run away!" Agatha said through laughs. "What did you make?" the child questioned. "Pasta. It's nothing special, I had to whip up a quick meal so I still had time to go out and tend to the garden." Agatha replied. "Ooo, can I come help you with the garden when we're done eating?" "Of course you can dear!" Agatha and y/n ate their dinners quickly, they still wanted daylight to garden in, and it was starting to get dark. "I'll race you!" y/n said. "You're on." Agatha said with a smile on her face. They raced out to the garden, giggling with each other. "Haha! I beat you!" y/n exclaimed, doing a little victory dance. Agatha laughed, "Sure did you little stinker, I'll beat you next time."
Both of them were having a lot of fun gardening. They planted roses because roses are y/n's favorite flower. They were throwing dirt at each other, putting flowers in each other's hair, and even making flower crowns with all the different types of flowers Agatha had in her garden.
"What are you two doing?!" A loud voice questioned suddenly from behind them. It startled y/n and a small amount of magic escaped her. "What was that?!" The person was visible now, she was an older woman, with white hair. "You scared me," Agatha replied, covering for y/n, "and we are gardening. What do you want?" "You two aren't at the coven meeting, we are discussing the children of the coven's magic tonight." the person replied. Agatha turned her head toward y/n, "Go inside." she said sternly. Y/n obeyed and ran inside the house. "We are not coming. I told you this already." Agatha said to the old woman. "You must come. If your daughter has magic anywhere near as powerful as yours we need to know." "Well she doesn't, and if she did why would I tell you, mother? You don't care enough about us to even know her name! You would just hurt her." Agatha yelled. Her mother's face dropped, "You haven't let me know anything about her, that's not my fault." "It is your fault! You didn't help me one bit while I was pregnant with her! I am your daughter, if you don't care about me, why would I trust you with my own daughter?" Agatha shouted, tearing up. Her mother paused for a moment, "You will attend the next meeting, or there will be consequences." "Of course there will be." Agatha muttered under her breath. Her mother walked away.
Agatha went back inside to find y/n laying on the couch, half asleep. She smiled and wiped her tears away before picking the child up bridal style and taking her up to her bed. "Who was that mommy?" y/n asked, yawning. "No one baby, it's fine." Agatha replied, "Goodnight." "Goodnight mommy." Agatha gave y/n a kiss on the forehead and tucked her in before heading into her own room and going to bed.
