Worthy of Love (KiriBaku)

Chapter 2: Sleepless

There was a pleading desperation within Bakugo's red eyes. They spoke words that his lips couldn't utter. "Kirishima?"

Kirishima stared at the other male, unsure at first. 'Come on, dude. This is Bakugo. He just wants to hang out.'

His eyes flicked up to the LED clock behind Bakugo's headboard. 11:27. It was getting rather late, but when Kirishima looked back at Bakugo his heart tugged within his chest. 

"Yeah, of course." Kirishima walked back over to Bakugo, sitting carefully by his feet, not wanting to cause any discomfort. "Do you wanna watch a show or something?"

"Sure, whatever," Bakugo muttered, seemingly returning back to his usual demeanor of indifference, despite the fact that his knees were still pulled against his chest. He scooted to the edge of his bed, making room for the red-head on the side of the bed that was nearest to the wall. He nodded to the spot, motioning for Kirishima to sit next to him.

Kirishima's face heated slightly as he understood what Bakugo wanted him to do. He awkwardly scrambled to the open side of the bed. He pulled out his phone from his sweatpants pocket. The screen illuminated the dark room as Kirishima began to scroll through Youtube for a video that the two would enjoy. He felt Bakugo shift slightly beside him. Bakugo grabbed his blanket that had fallen on the floor during his nightmare and flung it over both of them. Kirishima's blush deepened further, but he said nothing as he continued swiping through options.

Bakugo relaxed a bit as his heart began to slow down from his dream. With his friend with him he felt slightly better. He studied Kirishima's face for a moment, noting how soft it looked despite how strong he was during battle. The little scar above his right eye looked oddly harsh against his cute face.

'Wait, what?' Bakugo shook his head to himself and looked back to the screen, ignoring his intrusive thoughts.

"Wait, go back. There was an All Might highlight reel." Bakugo whispered to Kirishima. He obliged by clicking on the video.

They watched as the former Symbol of Peace laughed and made jokes in interviews, saved bystanders, and smashed villain after villain. Bakugo further relaxed, his nightmare fading to the back of his mind. The tension that he had felt in the pit of stomach was unraveling as he spent more time with his friend, a feeling of tranquility spreading through him. He stretched his legs back out over his bed after some time, just barely touching against Kirishima. The other boy didn't move away, rather he stayed very still as Bakugo nuzzled his head into his side. Bakugo's eyes fluttered closed softly, not being able to fight the sleep from coming back to him.

Kirishima felt as Bakugo's form slumped onto him after only a few minutes of watching the video. He too was feeling sleep trying to overcome him. Should he head back to his room? His phone screen proclaimed that it was now nearly midnight. He turned the video off and placed his phone back within his pants pocket. Everything was quiet save for the sound of Bakugo's light breathing beside him. It was so peaceful compared to what had happened only moments before.

Just as Kirishima began to shift his weight to sit up, Bakugo laid an arm across his chest, keeping him in place. Kirishima's blush returned at the sign of affection. Did Bakugo know what he just did or was it an unconsious response? 

Kirishima wasn't sure he wanted to know the answer. His mind told him not to get his hopes up. Doubt filled within him, but he closed his own eyes trying to shake it's hold on him. He listened to Bakugo's breathing as drifted to sleep.

A wet, messy kiss. Heavy panting. Their bodies grinding against each other. Hands gripped his length, stroking it softly. Red eyes peering at him through darkness, filled with desire.

"Eijiro."
