Nerves are filling Heejin her body as she is holding the microphone in her hand, she is staring at her. She can't help but think of all kind of scenarios that all end badly, the crowd laughing at her, the crowd throwing rotten tomatoes at her, so she comes home all smelly and wet because of the tomato juices. Not one scenario ends well, a sigh rolls over her lips and she closes her eyes. "It's going to be okay Heejin, you can do this, you've practiced hard" she whispers to herself and she clenches her hand around the microphone, Hyuna is looking at her and she smiles "Hey it's going to be okay Heejin, you can do this" she grabs the girl by her shoulders and smiles brightly "We have been practicing for so long, you really can do this" Heejin nods softly, feeling a little more encouraged by Hyuna her words and she turns to the mirror to look at her own reflection as she notices a head poking out at the door, a loud scream leaves her lips and the owner of the head his mouth drops, he didn't expect to be greeted like that. Heejin slaps her hand in front of her mouth and turns around, the tall guy steps inside the room and he bows softly as an apology. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you" he steps closer to the girl and she takes a deep breath "It's okay" she bows a little for him and he sticks out his hand "I'm Taemin by the way" Heejin shakes his hand with a bright smile "I'm Heejin" the guy nods and he smiles brightly "I know you are, I wanted to wish you good luck and don't be nervous it's going to be okay" he looks at the girl in front of him, he has watched videos of her before but he hasn't seen her from this close. She is even prettier than in all the videos he has seen, her hair is hanging loose and he can't help just look at her completely. "Hyuna, Heejin five more minutes!" a woman with a paper in her hands and a microphone in front of her mouth smiles at them. Hyuna walks up to Heejin and puts her hand on the girl her shoulders "I'm sorry Taemin but I'm stealing her away from you for a little while" she smiles brightly and Taemin nods "Good luck!"

The lights are dimmed on the stage and Hyuna is waiting for the music to start so she can start dancing and singing. Heejin on the other side is waiting for her sign to get up on the stage, she is still backstage, and a soft smile is on her face. She can't believe Taemin went to visit her! He wished her luck! The loud music fills the stage and Hyuna starts dancing immediately, the bright smile on her face, she is just so on point with everything she does. Heejin gets on the stage when her que is there and Hyuna looks at her, they start dancing together and Heejin feels this rush going through her body, it's like she has never had before. And Heejin knows for sure, she doesn't want this feeling to end. She always wondered how it would feel like to be the one performing, to be the one in the spotlights and not to be in someone's shadow.
Taemin is looking at the performance, he has a smile on his face, he can't help but bite his lip. It's something about Heejin, she gives off an aura that makes Taemin feels all kind of things. He wants to get to know her better, he understands why his fans and her fans are wanting them together. A small smile is on his face as Heejin her voice fills the room. He gasps softly, her voice is amazing, to the way she raps and to the way she harmonizes with Hyuna. When the song first came out he listened to it right away, the way the video looked, it wasn't like any other Hyuna videos. The video and the song were nothing like Hyuna her other songs, it's like she adapted everything she knew for Heejin.

People are walking onto the stage, it's time to announce winners and Heejin feels the nerves building up again. Hyuna is holding her hand and she looks at the girl next to her. They both didn't expect to be nominated for that award in general. Taemin is also on the stage, he is standing near her and he is looking at her, she is looking at him and she gives him a small smile.
"Hyuna and Heejin!" Heejin her mouth drops and Hyuna turns to Heejin with big eyes, she wraps her arms around Heejin as she jumps up and down happily, Heejin can't believe it and she can't help but feel tears. An award is handed to Hyuna and she smiles brightly as she takes it and takes the microphone to talk to the audience. Heejin stands a little nervous to Hyuna her side, she is holding her hand and Hyuna smiles and keeps holding her hand tightly. It looks like Hyuna is Heejin her mother and it's looking adorable. Hyuna hands the microphone back to the mc and she turns to Heejin "We did it" she whispers and hugs the girl tightly. Heejin smiles brightly and can't help but cry a little. Hyuna holds her tightly and looks around her, Taemin walks up to them and he smiles brightly "Congratulations!" his eyes are on Heejin who can't help but cry, she nods and without thinking she wraps her arms around Taemin. The male smiles brightly and holds her close "You had a well-deserved win" he smiles and he rubs her back softly. Heejin holds him and she holds him tightly. "Heejin we have to do an encore stage, you have to let him go" Hyuna smiles and she walks onto the stage, Heejin looks up at Taemin and she smiles "Thank you" she whispers and Taemin nods "Anytime" he lets go and she walks towards Hyuna, she smiles brightly and holds the trophy "You can sing my parts" she giggles and Heejin nods, she starts singing the song starting from Hyuna her lines. A happy feeling fills Heejin her body, this is everything she ever wanted and now her dream has come true.
