'What....?' Itachi's eyes widened. 'How does Naruto have....'
The blonde's red eyes shifted back to blue as he sniffed slightly.
'The Sharingan......' Itachi thought. 'And there's two tomoes......'
"Naruto...you're safe now...you're safe now," He let out a shaky sigh. "Don't go out on your own again. Come on, let's get you home..."
'Hokage-sama must know something about this.'
"I don't know how either...." Hiruzen sighed.
"We can't let the villagers get with this, Hokage-sama..." Itachi narowed his eyes. "And.....it's not possible for someone who's not an Uchiha to awaken the Sharingan..."
"I know," Hiruzen sighed. "Seal Naruto's memories up."
"What!?" Itachi gasped in anger.
"It's for his own safety, Itachi. Calm yourself down..." Hiruzen narrowed his eyes. "If they knew about him having the sharingan...their hate for Naruto would only increase. We don't want that now, do we?"
"Hai, Hokage-sama...." Itachi glanced up. "Don't you think we should look into this more?"
"It's best if we leave it be, Itachi...We don't want him involved with the massacre, or anything," Hiruzen sighed.
"Hai..."
Sasuke's unconscious body fell to the ground as Itachi's eyes shifted to original. He clenched his shaking fists, as tears ran freely down his face.
He slowly walked over and squatted next to Sasuke, brushing a hair out of his little brother's face. "Sasuke..." a choked sob escaped his lips.
He stood up with trembling hands, walking slowly down the paths of the Uchiha compound, trying to take his eyes off the dead bodies around.
It's his fault.
His.
"Itachi-nii....."
Itachi's eyes widened.
He quickly spun around, his eyes meeting Naruto's blue ones.
"You....can't go," Naruto whispered. "Don't go."
"Naruto....."
"Don't.....g-go...." Tears dripped down Naruto's face. "Don't...go!!!"
"I have to....Naruto," Itachi gritted his teeth.
"No, I don't care, bring me with you, you can't leave me!!!!" Naruto screamed, clutching onto Itachi's hand tight.
"Naruto...please let go," Itachi clenched his fists.
"NO!!! I'll never....let go...DON'T GO!!!!" Naruto cried.
Itachi sighed, closing his eyes before opening them again to reveal his Mangekyou sharingan.
"Tsukuyomi."
Naruto's eyes widened.
His eyes slowly closed as he dropped onto the ground, unconscious. "Don't....go......."
Gritting his teeth, Itachi trembled, dropping on his knees.
Tears stained with blood dripped onto the ground as Itachi sobbed.
"Don't...go...please."
Itachi's eyes widened slightly as he spun around.
"Don't go..." Tears stained Naruto's eyes as his eyes shifted to a three tomoe sharingan.
Itachi clenched his fists.
In a blur, he disappeared.
Slowly, Naruto got up on his feet and ran, tripping over a rock.
With gritted teeth, he ignored his wound and continued running, tears flowing down his eyes.
Don't....go.
"Would you...ever leave me, Weasel-nii?"
Don't go.
"No, never."
Naruto panted, tears streaming down his face as he stopped in the middle of an empty street.
He lied.
"Well, what do we have here?"
Naruto's eyes widened in fear.
He lied to me.
It's his fault.
