Ties cant be undone

Suddenly it was morning and for the first time in a long while Wei Wuxian awoke before Lan WangJi. Wei Wuxian rubbed his eye gently before getting out of the bed and stretched himself, due to yesterday and the night before with both of them sleeping in the middle of a forest and the sex they had of course Wei Wuxian would be sore. He rubbed his lower back gently and sighed a bit before going outside in his robe, he took in the fresh air and allowed the wind to blow in his face and through his hair. Yanli... I miss you.. you would've been so happy for me to know I finally have a husband who protects me and cares for me.. he sighed again and thought of his family and then suddenly of Lan WangJi. He crossed his arms gently and looked back to see a sleeping man, his hair in his face and both their head pieces laced around each other. Wei Wuxian went towards his husband and grabbed the red veil and slipped it in his mouth before realizing due to them being in Qinghé, Wei Wuxian was most likely not welcomed, he looked around and saw all he had was a black and blue robe to signify his relationship with Lan Zahn. He sighed and grabbed the robe and put it over his body and tied it gently before putting his veil over his face to remain slightly hidden, he stepped out the hotel room and decided to take Lan WangJis horse, he trotted around the city grabbing supplies for when they need to return back to Gusu. Shortly Wei Wuxian returned with a. Sack full of sweets, spicy foods, and flowers for his husband. He smiled excitedly and entered the room quietly seeing Lan WangJi was awake and he saw his husband "where did you go?" Wei Wuxian removed his veil slowly from his head and face. "I-I just went out to grab supplies.. I didn't want to wake you i would have felt bad. Seemed y-" suddenly he felt the arms of Lan WangJi around him and he spun him lightly "you can't just up and leave like that.. you cant" Wei Wuxian held onto his husband "I'm sorry I didn't mean to scare you" he gasped as he felt his husband pick him up and he instinctively wrapped his legs around Lan WangJi.

They both smiled at each other lovingly before kissing one another. Lan WangJi let his husband down and they both went to get food prepared, Wei Wuxian grabbed the flowers gently and handed them to Lan WangJi seeing they were roses. 13 to be exact.

For all the time he was gone

Lan WangJi let out a smile and he took the roses gently before settling them down on the table. They both cooked together a nice breakfast of steamed stuffed beans and rice noodles. They both sat down at the table and ate silently enjoying each other's company. "Wei Ying, what would you like to do today?" All Wei Wuxian had in mind for the day was just relaxing and hearing the guqin but since Lan WangJi asked he didn't want to do that anymore "hmm.. maybe.." it got quiet because Wei Wuxian couldn't think of much "maybe tonight we can take a boat and let it flow in the water while I hear your guqin?" Lan WangJi smiled happily again and nodded "yes we can do that" they finished their food and cleaned up the mess together before going to have a bath together.

Wei Wuxian started the bath making sure it was warm enough for the both of them to relax to; the water was filled and they both undressed and got in together. Lan WangJi grabbed his husband gently pulling him closer and holding him; Wei Wuxian could hear Lan WangJi's heartbeat steadily, it was relaxing and soothing to hear.

They both stayed silent just playing with the water until they both finally bathed and washed each other's hair. They got out the bath and dried themselves off before getting dressed for the day. Wei Wuxian Let his hair dry for the time being seeing Lan WangJi put his shoes on slowly "I'll be back ok?" Wei Wuxian nodded at his husbands words and they kissed before he left.

Hmmm.. where are you going?

Lan WangJi walked around the area quietly awaiting for his older brother "Lan Xicheng?" Lan WangJi waited for his brother so he sat down waiting patiently until he heard footsteps

"Hello Lan WangJi" Lan Xichen appeared before his little brother and he smiled "does Wei Wuxian know?" Lan WangJi shook his head "No but I want to do this right Xichen.." they both sighed "considering you both are married now I would expect you to want this to be done right.. considering it is your first anniversary in the next few days" Lan WangJi sighed a bit. "What do you think I should do Lan Xichen?" Lan Xichen shrugged "considering you told me a few days ago about wanting to take him to the water for the lanterns.. I would suggest stay home, take care of him mentally... sexually as well.. take him out for food! He likes spicy food yeah? Take him out later on and then to the waters.. but obviously you both HAVE to be hidden you know that right Lan WangJi?"
