"Which star is that?" A young, 7-year-old Regulus asked. They were lying in the grass late just outside their house, staring at the sky.
"That is Sirius- Look, I'm a star. The brightest star in the entire night sky."
Regulus laughed, "What about me?"
"You're pretty bright too. You're over there. The brightest star in your constellation, Leo."
"What's a constellation?"
"It's a bunch of stars that make a random shape. Like a bear. See, over there."
"Are Bella and Andy and Cissa stars too?" Regulus asked after a second.
"Well, Narcissa is a flower. But Andromeda is that constellation over there. Bellatrix is that bright star over there."
"What about Mum and Dad?"
They heard their Mother call. "Sirius? Regulus? What are you still doing out? Come in before the Muggles see you."

♥ James' POV — 31 July 1975 – 3 days after Sirius left
"James, what is Sirius doing?" His mother asked."He's laying on the grass."
"Could you tell him to come in for dinner? Your father and I have some news."
"Did you make your decision?" James asked, for once completely serious.
Mum nodded, waving her wand, starting the dishes to clean themselves. "He has nowhere to go, James, we have to take him in."
"Thanks, Mum."
His mother didn't seem to hear him, as she continued talking. "Poor boy. No child deserves that. He's welcome here as long as he'd like. And so is his brother."
Sirius' brother never seemed to like him very much after his first year. He had no idea why. Regulus always seemed angry whenever he was around.
"His brother isn't going to leave."
"What do you mean? The poor boy is going through the same thing, why wouldn't he want to leave?"
★ Sirius's POV — 31 July 1975
Sirius looked at the sky, staring at the stars. Something was calming about staring at a bunch of dots in the sky. But he couldn't get it off of his mind. He had forgotten it. His parents would probably burn it and there was nothing he could do.-༓-
"Do you like books?" Sirius asked.
"Yes. Which one's your favorite?"
"Beedle the Bard. My favorite is 'The Three Brothers'"
Dahlia continued building her sandcastle. "I've never heard of that. 'Charlotte's Web is my favorite. Dad reads it to me every night."
"I've never read it."
"Really? Oh, I bet I can ask Dad to let you borrow it. I'll bring it tomorrow."

The book had too much sentimental value to be left in an untouched room. He had to get it back.
☆ Regulus's POV — 31 July 1975
Regulus could tell his mother wasn't taking Sirius leaving well. Kreacher had even noticed it. It was weird because, just a few days ago, his mother had been a screaming fit.He wondered why they were sad. They had decided to disown Sirius, not anyone else. He remembered the same thing happening when Andromeda had left. Narcissa and Bellatrix had cried for weeks, but they still hadn't said anything.

He stopped at Sirius's room. His father was there, attempting to take off all the pictures in the room. Pictures of his friends and banners littered over the walls. It was such a stark contrast to the rest of the house.
"Get Kreacher to do it." His father muttered, giving up after a few minutes.
"I think it's a Permanent Sticking Charm." He said, looking at the Gryffindor posters.
"Kreacher!" His father shouted. The house-elf appeared mere seconds later. "Take care of this room. Clean up the mess and find a way to take those damn posters off the wall."
Regulus watched his father walk out of the view, he carefully stepped back in, looking around. His eye caught something.
★ Sirius's POV — 31 July 1975
"Sirius... Sirius, wake up." Sirius groggily opened his eyes, answering, "What?""You know...there are better places to nap," James said, smiling.
"Shut it- I'm tired."
"Come in for dinner."
