I woke up feeling so tired.

I tried opening my eyes to looked around and I was confused for a seconds.

Patay na ba ako? Why is it all white?

I looked around me, and then, it hit me.

Hospital?

My eyes darted at the five person in the corner.

I closed my eyes again.

I just wanna sleep. I felt so tired. Hindi ko alam kung bakit pero pakiramdam ko, pagod ang katawan ko.

I was about to open my eyes when the door of the room opened.

I decided not to open my eyes and just listen to everything.

It was a Doctor.

"Are you with the patient?" The doctor asked.

"I am her cousin po, Doctora. Sharmaine Martin. Is there something wrong with her?" I heard Ssen asked.

Something wrong? No! I'm perfectly fine, Ssen!

"There's nothing wrong with her, Ms. Martin but, may I ask where is her parents?" The doctor asked again.

Ohh, Doctora. They have built their own family, again. Tsk. Though, my Mom always there for me while Dad don't.

"I'm sorry, Doctora. But, Lolo lang po namin ang kasama namin sa bahay. And I'm afraid to say this but I can't ask him to be here. He's old." Ssen explained.

Why would Doctora wants to talk to my parents? I thought there's nothing wrong with me?

Am I really dying?

"I see." Doctora said. "Atleast, I can ask you about her boyfriend, then?" Doctora asked, hoping.

I'm sorry to disappointed you, Doctora. But, I'm single since fucking birth.

Tsk. I wanted to say something too.

"Hmm... Doc, my cousin doesn't have a boyfriend. Why are you asking for her boyfriend? You're creeping me out, Doc." Ssen said with a hint of annoyance in her voice. Baliw talaga.

That's right, Doc. You're hurting my feelings.

I don't have boyfie~~~~

"Sharmaine." I heard Alelie-babe said trying to stopped Ssen.

I laughed to myself.

Narinig ko rin ang mahinang tawa ni Doctora.

"No. No, I'm not. I'm sorry for creeping you out, Ms. Martin. I was just asking for her boyfriend so he will know that your cousin is pregnant with his child." Doctora said.

The whole room went silent.

P-pregnant? No way! Am I dreaming? Will someone showed up and say 'It's a prank'? Oh, please!

No way. I'm not. Imposible.

Sinubukan kong kurutin ang balat ko. I just wanna checked if I was actually dreaming or what.

And, damn it!

I'm not dreaming!

What the hell! I'm pregnant? Buntis?

There's only one man I slept with.

But, it just happened once. Isang beses lang nangyari 'yon!

Mukhang lahat nasa loob ng kuwarto ay natahimik sa narinig.

"But, it's impossible for your cousin not to have a boyfriend, Ms. Martin. She wouldn't be pregnant now if that's the case." Doctora broke the silence.
