Chapter 20

Henry grabbed the machine with hope, examining the small device he pushed the power button placing it on a cart aiming at the room. He could hear the device whine up the smoke flying off of it. The room filled with a light blue light as the device's fan roared like fighter jet engines, Henry thought about seeing if Schwoz could change the fans. As the blue light slowly disappeared a undistinguishable figure appeared in the center of the room as the figure tried to come to shape the fans speed slowed down as the device was losing power. "Chapa is that you?" Henry asked hoping it was. "Y-y-y-ye-a h-en-r-y" Henry was slowly starting to freak out. He was so close to being able to communicate to chapa like a real person but she needed help. He saw the device didn't have much power and was thinking of adding more power through the device, he started looking around for wire to connect the base to the device.

*(I'm not an expert on electricity so the wires maybe incorrect but I don't care)*

When Henry attached the positive end of the device to the base battery he heard sparks fly all around him with the sound of chapa in pain ringing throughout the room. Henry quickly disconnected the wire. He attached the negative with no problem then attached the positive wire, lights dimmed as the device jumped with power. The ghostly figure was starting to focus and look like chapa. Henry was pleased to see the device work. "Yes it works! Chapa can you hear me?" Henry stated as he watched chapa explore around, "yeah Henry it's so good that device worked." Chapa replied. They smiled at each other glad to know they could do this. Henry had so many questions he wanted to ask but he didn't feel like it was the right time to ask. the device jumped around screaming, Henry looked worried at chapa not knowing what would happen. Chapa looked at Henry with a worried face as she fell to her knees screaming in pain, Henry froze in shock not knowing what to do he ran to the device looking at the warning trying to see what happened. He didn't notice that chapa stopped her play, got back up and was walking toward the wires. As the device continued screaming she pulled the wires connecting it to the base's battery. Henry, still oblivious of chapa being fine, asked in a nervous tone, "Chapa, why did you disconnect the wires? It's what allowed you to be here." He paused, looked at chapa then at the unpowered machine, then back at chapa. "Too much?" Chapa asked Henry, laughing, realizing what happened. Chapa and Henry discussed their ideas for the future for a while.

Time skip

When the statue final arrived, Henry had the perfect place for it. But first Henry needed schwoz to upgrade the ghost device. Schwoz said he would be able to make it look like it was meant to be a projector that they could place in the statue. It would look like it was a hologram of volt if anyone came up to it and she was there in need of more energy to be able to take shape in our world. They would also attach a stronger battery for chapa. Henry with the help from chapa decided they would place the statue in front of junk and stuff as a memory of both superhero generations. Ray approved of the statue being in the front and thought it would be a beacon of hope to show that the team will survive and help all.

When the statue was presented Kid danger and danger force was there to show their support of the statue. Chapa watched from her viewpoint knowing that she would meet them again in better places and to her the team would be safe with her up there watching them. As Henry stood in support he could feel chapa watching them he could feel the part of himself that was gone start to heal and repair, he was doing the right thing and he became whole again with a strong minded connection to his sister from beyond the graves.
